We selected Square Online because it was able to do everything we needed it to do in one, concise dashboard. From employee logins to analytics and sales data to POS sales and inventory management, this product handles it all.
Square Online is a lot like the other quick build e-commerce systems out there (such as Wix and Weebly). It helps you get online quickly, neatly, and with very minimal overhead. We specifically used it as a checkout method from some targeted landing pages teaching customers …
We kind of bounce between Square Online and Paypal Zettle. We have tried a lot of different programs (and I mean a lot), and of course, there are negatives and positives to each, but Square Online has landed on top. It is the easiest to use on the go, customers are familiar …
This is a much easier platform for web editing. You very rarely need to use HTML codes for anything. It's all drag and drop. WordPress is integrated with GoDaddy. Using that program will make you mad after using Weebly. I am sure WordPress offers more in the line of design, but …
Five years ago we did a rebrand for our company and built a completely new website. This was good opportunity for us to make sure that Weebly was the platform we wanted to use for our web design. We looked into several other companies and found that Weebly offered the most …
Weebly stacks up well against its competitors because it is priced relatively, has excellent functionality and the option to add lots of plug-ins and add-ons. Weebly is ranked as one of the top Blogging and eCommerce site builders online for someone without the expertise of …
Weebly is easier to use than these platforms. One can easily create stylish looking websites without needing to type even a single line of code. We find Weebly super easy to use and they also provide a code editor which is usually not present in the similar website creators. …
I selected Weebly because I thought their themes weren't as janky as WordPress. I also like their price structure and overall easiness of maintaining the app. It also syncs with other applications that I use, like Hatchbuck. I like the support and reliability of Weebly so far …
I have not explored many alternatives. You can also sell digital downloads on Wix for example - that would be the one thing that I would have to have in a competing service. Wix also has more templates and more styling options. Weebly also lets you export your entire website - …
Weebly is the easiest to use and most robust platform I've found so far. It has its downsides relative to the other ones, like a limited number of templates, and not being great for e-commerce or blogging. It's really a matter of figuring out what's right for your business in …
If you want convenience and cost-effectiveness, Weebly is the go to. If you need a tool that's much more than just a basic website builder, Hubspot would be a great alternative (more expensive, more coding required, but a lot more features). Alternatively, since Weebly doesn't …
Weebly's designs, plugins, and customization options are a little more advanced in some cases than other similar programs. Wordpress requires a different level of expertise and knowledge of code, keywording, and plugins, so I wouldn't even compare them. Wix is a little more …
Weebly has a different selection of themes that I just believed better suited my needs. It all depends on what you need out of your website builder. Weebly’s interface can be more appealing to the user, cleaner and more accessible to those not well versed in code and who need a …

We used Weebly because the online sales platform for GoDaddy at the time was WAY too complicated, and truthfully, we could not figure out to use it. Weebly really worked for us because of how easy and intuitive it was for the user. That was a really big selling point for us.
Weebly is very intuitive and practical to use software, though prices of ".com" domains are too high they are presenting quality service to create and edit your site on the way you want. I used WordPress and Squarespace myself for my blog, they are also reasonable and good …
Firstly, especially the design difference was shown among them. Weebly has the most modern design. The the second difference is the simplicity, besides other ones also have drag and drop feature, Workflow is completely different. Weebly is ultimately easy to set up, navigate …
Weebly is a great tool for marketing and advertising. It is perfect for a small business and allows us the ability to get information to customers regarding merchandise, current sales and promotions, store hours and locations etc. The other softwares that I have used are …
I personally did not select Weebly for the business that I currently work for. The business owner selected Weebly as the software for the company and this was the first marketing software of this type that I have used so I do not have any other experience to compare it to.
Weebly is still one of my favorite web builder software which means they continue to modify the platform for simplicity and speed. Weebly has a robust small business, e-commerce upgrade and almost for every type of website. All you have to is create your website quickly using …
Weebly was always one of the top-rated solutions in the website-builder arena. We had experience with GoDaddy, and were sadly disappointed in the clunkiness and general lack of quality features. We finally chose Weebly over its runner-up, Squarespace, because it was a cheaper …
Wix, for some reason, seems to be the latest, newest, freshest option and competition for Weebly. Their drag and drop design is VERY easy. Their tempates seem more fresh and hip.
Weebly allows us to do more customized work than WordPress does. This allows us to tell a better, more complete story than we were able to through WordPress and gave us more freedom to put our storyboards that were in our heads to life on the website. It was easier to format …
In my opinion, Shopify is a much better option overall but perhaps more expensive then WooCommerce. I'd recommend Shopify for users with a higher budget as it will deliver a better website in the end
Initially due to budget i have selected the woo commerce but the they dont have customisation as we are need when our customer base is increasing thats why i shifted to big platform like shopify that give us alot of customisation but it comes with a price...but woo commerce is …
WooCommerce is great for customization and for customers whose needs grow with their business. With its add-ons, it works for customers of all sizes with a variety of e-commerce needs. It does need more technical development skills to set up compared to Wix or Shopify, which …
The level of customization and ease of integration with an existing WordPress website makes it a good choice. Snipcart is better for developers or small sites and Shopify is an amazing e-commerce-optimized platform but if you have an existing website on Wordpress, it is much …
We love the functionality of Wordpress itself, so that's why we ended up using WooCommerce to do checkout instead of going over to the Shopify platform. Wordpress allows us to do so much more with the backend code and customization of our website. We were not impressed with the …
They're very similar to be honest, but from our experience and what I've seen online, WooCommerce seems to have better performance and pricing. I think they probably match in quality for most other features
Since I don't use the e-commerce options constantly for my photography business, I didn't want to pay a monthly subscription and waste that budget during the months when I don't need any online booking options. WooCommerce allows me to install and uninstall plugins as needed to …
Woocommerce is a free option and since I work with mostly small businesses who do not have the budget to subscribe to an expensive product on a monthly basis, it makes it really easy to help these companies get set up with their e-commerce store. Plus, it offers all the …
We were pretty sure we wanted a WordPress site so that we had more control over the site itself, having been burned by third-party vendor sites before. The fact that WooCommerce integrates so well with WordPress was a big selling point for us. Magento would have been too heavy …
While I haven't tried other e-commerce plug-ins, WooCommerce satiates and satisfies all areas one could hope for and look to when shopping around. And in cross-referencing other reviews there is certainly enough to show that WooCommerce is an immensely powerful program that can …
WooCommerce is a good free version that's very customisable, but is not a smooth or polished platform. If you look at both dashboards between Shopify and WooCommerce you can see the difference is huge.
WooCommerce seems to be built for websites that aren't focused entirely on …
I have used WooCommerce longer than other products that I have tried. WooCommerce fits my requirements mainly for the value it offers based on the features available for the cost.
Platforms like Shopify are easier to set up and running and come with better default functionality. But if your business is successful you’ll quickly run into structural limitations: 1) can’t tweak the checkout flow 2) can’t make the site much faster or better for SEO 3) any …

I like WooCommerce because it can be optimized, customized and adapted to every business needs. That's because it's WordPress core, it helps us customize stores in ways we can only imagine and also we can implement Google AMP and PWA easier and faster than with other platforms. …
Shopify is a premium e commerce platform tailored just for online shops. While WooCommerce is a plugin which has main platform as WordPress. Shopify is costly to have. Most of the basic shop functions that are offered in shopify can be achieved using WordPress + WooCommerce …
Shopify while providing a more sophisticated user experience is less easy to integrate with an existing Wordpress website. Hence, WooCommerce is a go-to for those with existing Wordpress websites. Shopify provides a great store front of its own, and hence may be recommended for …
WooCommerce and Shopify both permit essentially limitless customization. However, WooCommerce runs on PHP, a commonly used development language with a thriving community, whereas Shopify uses Liquid, a relatively obscure programming language, in its backend. I'm not I would …
One single word: cost! Most WooCommerce alternatives have very high monthly or annual costs. WooCommerce permits to have an implementation cost (low or high based on customization) and a very low maintenance cost. Even if some plugins are very expensive, the maintenance cost is a …
Weebly is a great platform if you need a brochure-ware website. It's got some great features and you can't beat how easy it is to use. On the downside, the blog and e-commerce functionality is limited. Although there are several fairly easy to use platforms out there, I use it for many of my clients that are just starting out or need one they can eventually manage and update themselves as their businesses evolve -- which is especially true in the beginning or at the startup of a business. However, it can also scale, since you can create almost any number of pages and add content like audio and video. Additional functionality may be added through embeds.
WooCommerce is best suited to customers whose website is built on the WordPress platform, and whose development team has a good understanding of plug-in implementation. If your website is not built on WordPress, but on Laravel or React (or any other non WordPress technology), then WooCommerce is not for you. WooCommerce is also great for customers who just need a simple online shopping experience. If your needs involve more complex or immersive features such as timed discounts, pick up locations, delivery reminders, or post shopping feedback surveys, know that you will need to purchase additional add-ons to make to get these features using WooCommerce set up on WordPress.
Does not provide everything out of the box, for certain features you will have to install additional plugins.
Their own addon plugins are costly.
The Order table uses wp posts meta table, For those who have good amount of orders coming in, the table will keep getting larger by time that it might hog the server.
Weebly is consistently adding features that line up with our needs. The ease of use makes it the perfect program for us since we have users of multiple age brackets and knowledge of web design. We love that we can give users access to only the pages they are affiliated with
Despite very rare glitches, more connected to an excessive number of plugins, that affect the speed of the site, we are extremely satisfied with the platform, the ability to import and export products, even though we just export them, as we have our proprietary system for updating inventories. We love the ease of upgrading, enhancing, innovating, and the freedom we have to do whatever we want, which is a plus, when you consider Shopify can take down your whole store as they please, if they think you aren't abiding to their TOS or their ever changing set of rules.
Very easy to use and intuitive to design after all of our business needs. From the website and POS system to how we represent ourselves internally and to our customers... Square is second-to-none in helping our business and others in our same boat become the kind of businesses we want to be when it comes to our inventory and sales of these kinds of products.
WooCommerce is highly customizable, feature rich, matured, ever evolving, and regularly updated plugin for WordPress. Since it is already extremely popular, you can find online tutorials to help you get started. Even if you face a problem, you can quickly get a solution from a helpful online community. You can use most of the popular payment gateways with WooCommerce. Besides that you have a full control over your website/shop.
Overall, Weebly is a fantastic app to integrate into the classroom or school setting. I usually give students an option when designing web pages/websites and Weebly is often the choice. However, when it comes to pure blogging and older students learning how to track their digital footprint, I usually lean toward having them use WordPress. But Weebly is simpler with less time needed to get started as opposed to WordPress. Students need to understand simple HTML, embedding other tools/apps, and the basics of web design without the coding/HTML background and Weebly helps support this.
WooCommerce is cheaper and more customizable, making it easy to create a great-looking product and a polished purchasing and checkout experience. Our BigCommerce site required significant custom coding to get the desired functionality. That said, BigCommerce has been a very stable and reliable experience, whereas our WooCommerce site has had some security and reliability issues.
Weebly has saved us a lot of time with site maintenance - if we need to make a change, it's easy to get in and out without spending a lot of time trying to code.
Weebly is cost effective, and right now we're getting just about everything we need from the tool so we're saving money (compared to other products).
