Chose Study Island
I have used a couple of different study and learning tools, and Study Island is my favorite! Some of the things that make Study Island stand out are their easy to create assignments, easy to navigate activities (for students), and easy to grade/assess students. The platform is …
I didn't choose Study Island over Renaissance Accelerated Math. Study Island doesn't offer the in-depth review of standards over and over like Renaissance Accelerated Math does. Plus, Renaissance Accelerated Math also makes them wait 2 weeks then re-introduces the standards …
IXL is a good program that allows teachers to focus on problems for specific standards. It allows teachers to assign work and monitor student progress. What I like about USATestprep is that you can assign and create assessments that automatically grades the student work where …
Regarding other testing platforms or test prep programs, nothing comes close to USATestprep !!! From being state aligned to ease of use, USATestprep does everything in between. Another plus, the kids love it too. No matter where I teach, USATestprep will always be a must in my …
In my time using and assisting in the use of Study Island, I have seen teachers between K-5 grade use this program. Students in younger grades may find this program challenging to use independently, causing teachers to assist rather than use that time to work with another student simultaneously. Intermediate grade students can become bored with some of the games and lose interest. This program seems best suited from 1st to 4th grades.
USATestprep is well suited in that it offers a variety of activities for the students. Anything from videos to printable resources, USATestprep has something for every type of learner. By using this program, teachers are not limited to just printing off worksheets for students to complete in class. The teacher can now create assignments that will match the students learning style. If you currently aren't using USATestprep, you should be !! You will not be disappointed !!
Customer support is fantastic!! Only if all other companies gave the same kind of support. Anytime I have had to contact support, my issue is typically resolved within 30 minutes. When contacting support, you will not talk to a robot either. There is always another person at the end of the line.
I have used a couple of different study and learning tools, and Study Island is my favorite! Some of the things that make Study Island stand out are their easy to create assignments, easy to navigate activities (for students), and easy to grade/assess students. The platform is so colorful and fun for students and keeps them engaged!
IXL is a good program that allows teachers to focus on problems for specific standards. It allows teachers to assign work and monitor student progress. What I like about USATestprep is that you can assign and create assessments that automatically grades the student work where IXL is not able to do.
