I spend a LOT of time researching alternatives. Many required high upfront payments and did not have the functionality I needed. Test Invite was the first platform I tried and I was very happy with it!
I selected Test Invite because it was the only provider I found whose question format types and customization options fully allowed us to digitalize our placement tests and conduct them online. The availability of video and audio options in questions is a clear advantage.
The tool is easy to use and the reference reports has allowed us to move from 2 references at the end of the recruitment process to collecting 5+ references earlier in the recruitment piece, thus allowing us to have better insight into the applicant and being able to tailor our interviews to questions that arise from the references. We have also seen a hirer retention rate of employees who have undertaken Outmatch references compared to those who have had verbal references. The references are in an easy-to-read format and the candidate sourcing database has added to our candidate attraction pool.
Very supportive, evolved quickly, had a markedly more advanced experience with them from the first year we collaborated to the second as they were very open to suggestions and agile in making improvements according to our feedback. Very patient with our constant contacting and extremely congenial when handling challenging situations. As mentioned in the suggested improvements, a more modernized look and feel to the user interface would add much value to the experience.
Customer Service initially was poor, but we now have a good account manager. However, compared to Checkster, (outmatch acquired) there is a clear service level difference.
The platform itself is constantly being updated and streamlined to reduce bugs and increase ease of use for the user. This area constantly needs improvement for any company.
Compatibility across devices. Users sometimes have difficulties using the service on mobile devices.
A mobile application could be a way to improve the user interface.
This is the most appreciated part of working with Test Invite over the last 2 years. Support was always timely, congenial, effective, and never challenging in terms of response rate or quality of reaction. Our counterpart on the Test Invite side has practically become a member of our team, as they are always extremely involved and ready to provide value while becoming very clear on our needs.
Harver vs. GoodHire:They are efficient platforms, easy to use, offer resume evaluation tools, selection tests, candidate evaluations, etc. Harver offers great options like video interviews, which can be easily recorded and shared. One big difference between the two platforms is that Harver offers internal collaboration and candidate experience evaluation tools, while GoodHire focuses on background checks.
