So I have used Jibble and time doctor for time tracking, but none of these would reflect the reasons for low/high performance of the employees as Jibble is just a time clock, and the time doctor won't yet make reports and send them to superiors right away. Traqq solves it. …
I haven't used any other products in this area but I think Traqq will be my choice as it provides all the features and services that I would be requesting from such a product. We selected it because they have excellent support and a smooth onboarding process.
As silly as it sounds, I was using Google to search for "timezone converters" prior to finding Traqq. I could never go back to managing my company in this way. I now realize how absolutely ridiculous it was to be using Google to manage a company with about 30 employees. The …
I was an Upwork user for a few years. I think the advantage of Traqq is it has an intuitive Dashboard that you can refer to. On Traqq's Dashboard, you can grasp the data of the whole team at once. While on Upwork, generally, we need to click on each contract to check the …
It's similar to the Upwork time tracker, but Upwork does not let you erase screenshots or blur them, and that's a plus for my employees because they feel they are being tracked but without a privacy invasion.
Traqq is the first tracking app I've used. I have heard friends and former colleagues (On Upwork) complain bitterly about how poor most tracking apps are and the countless number of times they've been underpaid after putting in a great amount of time and energy. Traqq was …
I selected Traqq because in the TickTick app it was difficult to manage the application and I can’t able to see all team members' daily activities in terms of performance.
We were previously using Deltek GCS. Deltek stopped the support for this software so we were forced to change to a new product. We reviewed Costpoint, a Microsoft product and Unanet. We selected Unanet because it had all of the features we were looking for in a new software …
Unanet is MUCH less expensive than Deltek and is easier to use for an admin and employees. There are more robust features, much better reporting and access to actuals for managers. Our organization spent so much time in the past with offline work but now this is not necessary …
I evaluated several options and narrowed my search to Unanet, Big Time, Journyx, and Harvest. I had a demonstration by all but three (one did not offfer a demonstration that fit my needs) and I made a comparison worksheet of the features, costs, implementation time, support, …
We were used to Deltek's Costpoint from the prior company and Unanet is far easier to use for users, accounting personnel, project managers, and corporate managers. Continuous enhancements lead us to believe that Unanet will be even better in meeting our needs.
Unanet achieves all of our project based time management in one platform extremely well, which is what the goal was from the start. The previous platforms I have managed needed additional modules and significant resources to achieve the same result as Unanet.
Traqq is a great system when you are in the field of education. In my experience, it has saved me countless hours of figuring out how to remember the timezone my employees and students are located in. I used to use a written spreadsheet of each employee's timezone and one of those random timezone calculators. Being able to modify Traqq based on my employees' timezone, my timezone, and our company's timezone (the technical "working hours") has been a game-changer.
As I said, Unanet is great for timekeeping and expense reporting. It's very easy to navigate and intuitive for my staff to use. On the other hand, reports are a challenge. The ones that are "canned" only come out as PDFs so I find I waste a lot of paper each month. Customized reports are better and come in Excel, but setting them up is not that easy. We've been working with Unanet just over a year. We went "live" effective 1/1/2017 and we're still avoiding the reporting functions even though that was one of the main reasons we purchased Unanet in the first place
Near real-time visibility into project financials. As soon as the employees save their time for the day, you can get a good measure of project financial performance. Work authorizations are embedded into Unanet so unintentional overruns are virtually eliminated.
Nice integration with the Joint Travel Regulations. It is easy to import the latest rate tables for both CONUS and OCONUS destinations.
Good customer support and highly responsive. Webinars on new features are free and broadcast on a regular basis. Feedback to suggestions for new features are addressed in a very timely fashion.
It is easy to structure Unanet to support DCAA practices to be able to get approval for cost plus jobs.
With exports to .csv files, it is easy to extract data for further analysis beyond the relatively rich built-in reporting features.
So I have used Jibble and Time Doctor for time tracking, but none of these would reflect the reasons for low/high performance of the employees as Jibble is just a time clock, and the Time Doctor won't yet make reports and send them to superiors right away. Traqq solves it. Honestly, I have never come across any software competing with functionalities like Traqq yet.
We were previously using Deltek GCS. Deltek stopped the support for this software so we were forced to change to a new product. We reviewed Costpoint, a Microsoft product and Unanet. We selected Unanet because it had all of the features we were looking for in a new software and it was very user-friendly.
I've been able to get things done faster with Traqq. One of my clients made a comment a while back(I asked for her permission before posting this). She said, "I loved how I don't get to pay freelancers for doing nothing, now I pay employees according to the quality of work I receive". We both laughed about it though, but I believe that's a positive impact on her.
I've been able to write more, knowing that my clients can see my major moves. My main aim is to impress my employers to get good feedback in return and Traqq helps me greatly in that area.
Unanet has had a very significant ROI on several fronts. Our payroll department spends much less time managing and processing time in general.
Unanet has allowed all of the project managers teams bill on a much more granular level which has saved significant time over the previous Excel based processes of gathering project level data.
Using Unanet companywide has also saved many hours of time that were previously spent translating data from other platforms, and consolidating data via Excel for reporting purposes. Using the same tool (Unanet) with the included reports has saved significant time and hassle which has had an enormous impact on the ROI of Unanet.
