The scenario where Open Loyalty is better suited is with a customer that has one and only one e-commerce site or equivalent. Many customers think it would be easy to customize Open Loyalty for multiple companies, using only one installation. This is difficult to Open Loyalty since different companies will have different rules, levels of rewards, etc, and that's not easily configured on Open Loyalty. The area where we think Open Loyalty would beat other products is scalability and customization. Open Loyalty has been tried on really large customers and the database never felt sluggish nor the web interface or the web services.
