Chose RavenTools
RavenTools created a stronger platform that allowed us to really streamline our processes and keep our clients happy by providing monthly insights to the progress, successes, and advantages of our team creating marketing and executing efforts. My agency had been long-time fans …
I was with Web SEO tools for maybe a month before I cancelled and went over to RavenTools. I preferred RT immediately and five years later I am still using them. More cost-effective and their reporting tools were so much easier for my clients to understand - which to me was the …
Many of the other tools I've tried have all usually had a particular segment or function that really sets them apart in that area. Many of these other tools are more expensive overall as well. RavenTools, for my business and client needs, has consistently provided the broadest …
RavenTools is less expensive than other options such as Moz. While it doesn't offer the same degree of options as other tools, Raven can be a key component of any digital marketing campaign.
As a user of Hootsuite Free for reporting and social media management, RavenTools is more robust and fully functional. RavenTools provides a simpler dashboard and interface. You have more control over reporting, analytics views, and it is more intuitive. The only advantages I …
We use RavenTools because it is helpful to have the suite of products in one piece of software. In the past we used different software for social media management, another for site audits, a different one for backlink tracking and another one to monitor local search. Having all …
RavenTools is a workable solution for companies with SEO needs but also needing to report on social activity and produce easy reporting. We initially bought it for SEO tracking but then needed to add Moz when RavenTools scrapped their ability to report on keyword rankings. Moz …
We had selected RavenTools at the time because it was converting more sales. We had both Moz and RavenTools running. I went back to RavenTools once I started my own company in 2014, but after demoing out Moz and their current suite of tools, I was ready to make a jump. I think …
I've never used any other product but I remember the reason we went with this product versus the other products we researched was because it offered a lot more tools for your money.
ActiveCollab was okay for task management, but it doesn't hold a candle to all of the funtionality built into RavenTools. I feel like RavenTools is THE must-have tool for people in my industry.
We selected RavenTools because it appeared very broad and robust, but upon using it on a regular basis, we realized that it was mostly just a loose conglomerate of data pulled from various sources. It doesn't cross analyze and it doesn't allow for the same flexibility in the …
RavenTools, seoClarity, and BrightEdge are all ostensibly the same things—one-stop shops for SEO analysis of multiple domains. However, versus those other tools, RavenTools is a completely different beast. Its strength is in its reporting, which is modular and highly …
I have used Majestic, Moz, and SEMrush for similar things and I like all these tools. I like majestic's interface best for competitive analysis and backlink exploration. I prefer some of Moz's tools to Raven, but Raven has the advantage of compiling data from all these …
RavenTools is as solid as it comes when you're choosing a marketing application to suit a variety of needs. Since it is a web application it can be accessed anywhere, at anytime by the users you have in your account, just as long as they have internet access. A lot of choices …
Conductor Searchlight - Heinous. The tool doesn't function well, not as responsive as RavenTools and other SEO suites I've used and it's far too expensive. Most people probably buy into it because they are fooled by the price thinking that they will get a tool that's worth that …
Now in my current company, where we do not use RavenTools, the reporting process is very long and extensive. Our entry-level employees have to build out the reports themselves in excel rather than using a program and spending more time on insights.
Having used RavenTools in two different positions the ease of use, ability to pull in PPC information and the flexibility to add information either via text, images or HTML set it apart from a lot of the other tools out there. It also was easy to set up, add, remove clients and …
Well to be honest, we hadn't tried other solutions before RavenTools. Until we started with them we were doing all of our work the old fashioned way, pouring through code for on-site SEO problems and kicking out reports and/or screenshots of charts from other services depending …
I don't have a lot of experience with other tools although we have had a lot of demos of other products. We have often found that by utilizing features in Raven that we didn't know about we could have the same functionality without using another reporting tool. This allows us …
Of course, each of these tools has its pros and cons, but Web CEO provides by far the most insights about your website and your competitors and helps you to take informed action to improve your ranking and site traffic.
WEB CEO covers many aspects of SEO both onsite and off-site. We have used a wide selection of tools and found that using WEB CEO covers everything we need. Some tools we have used are too niche and specialise in one or the other.
It isn't the best bit of software. It does have its charming touches, but when it comes down to it, it is going to struggle against the big boys. SEO Monitor will eat it for breakfast. I think a few decent UK tweaks could make this into a true contender
I used to use IBP which is a very good tool but after many years I found that the benefits of WebCEO's online tools were able to outperform the results that we were getting with other tools. By moving to WebCEO we are able to reduce time spent on individual tasks and use the …
We use different tools for different aspects of SEO, but WebCEO stacks up to all of them for most applications and could be used as a single tool for a majority of SEOs. For a specialty and advanced agency-level SEO, it is one in a suite of other tools that I recommend.
Web CEO stacks up adequately against other basic ranking reporting tools. We ultimately chose Web CEO for its competitive ranking reporting and control over building keyword groups and labeling keyword sets. It also integrates the best into our reporting than other platforms' …
Web CEO is very good against the alternatives. It has a better interface, more alternatives to tracking sites, and lots of opportunities to apply but it fails when we talk about social signs and social insights. But overall it’s one of the best online software products in the …
Web CEO is just as effective as any tool out there. The main focus is on website performance related to keywords and other SEO indicators (back links, content marketing, visitor data). The company is loyal to their customers and are regularly providing updates and improvements …
I have found limitations using WebCEO (or any other general SEO software) versus dedicated function software. WebCEO might work fine for a small company or individual working with a single site but an agency working with multiple large clients where expectations are high and …
This is not my primary job function any more and I haven't used other products. I have used Alexa for some research and Compete and maybe a few other online programs but recently I tried Web CEO again but since we use a third party agency for our web design it was hard to pull …
While SEO PowerSuite utilizes just as much data, Web CEO does a better job at the KPIs that matter. MOZ can be fragmented in interface and reports a lot of data, some of which is less important to strategy overall. Web CEO is the most thorough in terms of the organic and paid …
The major purpose of using software is to increased leads and convert them into sales. The SEO applications I reviewed based on both standard SEO features and elements that make each one stand out from the rest is Raven SEO and Ahrefs tool. These tool allows us to represent …
We looked at several other products, trialled some of them, but Web CEO was more feature rich than many and gave the best ROI of any that we looked at.
I have used Google Adwords/Analytics, and I feel the ease of use, and general layout of the program is more straightforward than analytics. In Google, many times you have to watch a video or do a live chat to even figure out where something you are looking for is. Web Ceo is …
We currently own and have used iBusinessPromoter, SEO ELITE and SEO Profiler (we actually still have an account). We compare the effectiveness and accuracy of WEB CEO to those other products. We've been in business over 15 years and have tried a lot of products and services, …

I would say RavenTools is most appropriate if you find you are spending a lot of time logging into different services and generating different reports from each. It's been a big time saver for us because we can compile all that data into one report and even generate a cover page and table of contents. This suite has also been beneficial for our sales team in that they we can provide detailed reports on the problems with their website before we even close the deal with them.
If you are just wanting to have a web page without any idea of wanting to gain exposure for it via Google or social media channels then WebCEO is probably not for you. However, if you are like me and my Graceful Touch blog project where building a stronger and stronger backbone of digital success is important to you then WebCEO is without question your number one place to go.
The support team at WEB CEO are probably one of the best we have come across! They are always on the ball and answer all and any questions we have within a quick timeframe!
The on-page optimisations and page scores go quite in depth allowing you to understand what is holding a page back. You can also customise what you want the on-page optimisations to be. There are settings to turn off a ranking factor, extremely handy for certain projects!
The internal link structure analysis is extremely useful to help see your most authoritative pages. This enables you to help direct your links to your most important pages and see what pages are linked together.
We are very happy with WebCEO and they are always responsive and have implemented many of our team's recommendations. Most recently we have suggested they work on a system that would allow for factoring whether a ranking was a local stack, organic, answer box, and provide an at a glance rating. Something like 1-1-1, where each dash would signify a first page ranking, so first dash would be answer box, next local stack, next organic, etc...
A year ago or so, Raven abandoned many of their organic rank reporting tools in an attempt to favor some Adwords intelligence. The market rebelled, as did I; in our desperation to find an alternative to Raven, none could be found and a great majority of users didn't want/need Adwords data. Months later, Raven reverted. I'd renew with Raven not just because nothing else cuts it, but because they are both trying to innovate, and listening to customers.
Unlike many of the other SEO analysis tools on this list, which focus primarily on your site’s SEO activities, Web CEO digs deeper into company’s online marketing strategy including email campaign, shortened URL service, creating landing page for webinars, social media push activities.
Certain areas, Social Media scheduling, could stand to undergo a complete overhaul. However, most of the RavenTools interface is easy to use. You will not have any issues getting up and running and should there be an issue, the customer service is really good. They also continue to preform updates that make the usability even better
The UI is awesome and the recently redesigned the entire product. This isn't like Hootsuite which stays stagnant for years. It looks modern and functions like a modern tool. It can be a little sluggish at times but that is partially due to it querying so much amazing data at once :)
RavenTools has some of the best Customer Support I have ever received. They are quick to respond and will keep you posted on the progress of your issue. You truly feel as if you are getting customized service. No human is perfect and I have had one situation in which I had to reach out multiple times, but overall I fully trust and approve of their process
Most support networks focus on answering questions as WebCEO does. With my experience with WebCEO, I now call those the average support providers. Then there are the exceptional support providers who really go to the next level in making sure you are taken care of. While WebCEO certainly does this I've decided to remove them from qualifying at this level. Instead, I made a whole new category for their support called extraordinarily amazing. They respond in a timely fashion. Offer great value along the way. But then even have fun what with their unnecessary but great graphics that they include in their support. This is the upper edge of everything and leaves me with a huge smile on my face.
No. The difficulties were much of our own making. The installation of the software was simple and trouble free but our own initial use was less straightforward and we did not thoroughly think through how certain aspects of the system would be used. Thus we had initial inconsistency between different users of the system, which had to be resolved later.
As a user of Hootsuite Free for reporting and social media management, RavenTools is more robust and fully functional. RavenTools provides a simpler dashboard and interface. You have more control over reporting, analytics views, and it is more intuitive. The only advantages I would say Hootsuite has is the ability to add apps that connect directly with other software and social media post management. Long story short, there is a reason I choose to put funds behind RavenTools vs. Hootsuite.
I used to use IBP which is a very good tool but after many years I found that the benefits of WebCEO's online tools were able to outperform the results that we were getting with other tools. By moving to WebCEO we are able to reduce time spent on individual tasks and use the data compiled to quickly implement solutions on our clients' sites.
RavenTools has absolutely improved the reporting we provide our clients. We used to be mashing together dissimilar Excel reports. Comparisons between time periods was difficult to present and graphs had to be created manually with lots of time spent formatting them correctly.
RavenTools has improved the efficiency with which we put together our reports. This frees us up to do more high-level thinking about recommendations and up-sell opportunities which ultimately leads to more revenue.
I would say that as a tool. Web CEO has a decent amount of kick to it. I just think that it is lacking that knockout punch that its competitors have
The social metrics and competitor metrics are great, they just don#t have that zing to them. I think some GUI tweaks would move Web CEO onto the next level. It is a pity, as Web CEO is one step from greatness.
