We used to use Microsoft Teams for video interview and right now we moved to Spark Hire. The application is giving us extreme benefits of shortlisting the best suitable candidates. Recorded video interview sharing with the relevant hiring manager ensures proper transparency and …
We have not used other products like Spark Hire. This is the only one, so it would be very difficult for us to compare Spark Hire with other products. We can say that we have never felt the need to look elsewhere for a product of this nature, and don't intend to do so at this …
SmartRecruiters also has a self-scheduling feature for interviews that we got some exposure to. Spark Hire you're able to customize more of your options with the type of interview and also customizing the length of the interview.
I can't remember the names of the other companies I reviewed but I chose Spark Hire because I could purchase the service on a monthly basis. This is an important feature for us since we're a small business.
It is great for first round interviews, or if you have a ton of candidates that need to be narrowed down quickly. However it is not great further along in the interview process as it lacks that personalized touch and the conversation is one sided. But overall, for the initial beginning stages of an intense recruiting process, it is a great way to learn more about candidates apart from just their resume.
I don't think the site is particularly user friendly. Since I use it so infrequently, I never remember where things are hidden and I do mean hidden.
Secondly, I had a wonderful sales representative the second year I used the service, Jacob Hall, who was always available to help me. Happily for him, he got promoted and this year I found the customer service lacking. If I had a problem, I either had to email your support team or leave a message in the general mail box. I found that very frustrating because I'm extremely busy when I'm staffing this event and I don't have the luxury of the time to take extra steps to resolve a problem.
Spark Hire is easy to use for both us and the candidate/interviewee. There is not a huge learning curve to being able to implement the program. Additionally, our clients (who are given access to the interviews) don't find it difficult to use, and our candidates have very few problems when recording their video interviews
I have not used the support that much with Spark Hire but it seems that there are a lot of features available for support and different resources that are provided on Spark Hire's website. For the most part, the system is very user-friendly and it's easy to navigate and figure out things on your own.
