We have been tasked with using F5 Distributed Cloud App Stack in many ways. One of those is with load balancing our different apps. Currently we have times when one function or feature does not work in an app and with F5 it is easy to solve for. We also now can use the F5 health checks to ensure everything is working properly.

Cons

  • The UI is hard to learn
  • The use of acronyms is heavy and hard to know without previous experience

  • We don't yet have hard numbers but it is already making a positive impact to the end users.

  • It's still a little early so the app feels foreign to our ops teams
  • I would like to customize the UI so I can visually see if I'm in Prod or Dev based on background colors
  • Templates are a little awkward to create
