Google Meet is an excellent software if you require to setup quick business meetings or one on one discussions. Especially for them who are already knowledgeable with Google workspace environment. Meets native integration with other tools like calendars, Gmail, Google Drive is just seamless, It just enable users to use these tools without switching on different platforms. Raise hand like features are quite good as well as shared screen features makes it to present reports and documents in more suitable manner. If organizations are providing training sessions, intensive workshops and other brainstorming sessions they can easily do that with Google Meet. Its simple interface ensures client would not face any technical difficulties while using it. It also lacks some features like attendee analytics which some of its peers have. It also lacks in having built in monetization tools for webinars or integration with some third party marketing tools. Organizations like finance, Health and government sectors often requires high end encryption or specific compliance certification which is not available with every plan.

I believe Google Meet is ideal for a variety of situations, including short or extended meetings, sales or support presentations. I believe the only option that is inappropriate is for a large number of people, and if it is a very brief call, you must construct a room, and so on; sometimes you are in a rush and simply want to call and converse.

It has a significant importance and due to its borderless integration I use it to connect to the teams based out of my country's geographical borders. Moreover it becomes highly feasible and easy for me to set up meetings with anyone because of the find a time feature and also send them a invite and reminders without me having to take no additional steps for the same.

For an internal more confidential meeting , Google meet is the best place as it offers a sense of confidentiality and the secured number of users who can actually access the meeting whereas a more interactive digital workshop type session is where google meet is the least prefered option.

I think Google Meet is appropriate for many occasions: short or long meetings, sales or support presentations. I think the only possibility that is not appropriate is for many people and if it's a very quick call, you have to create a room and so on, sometimes you're in a hurry and you just want to call fast and talk.

Google meet is well suited where you can mute or unmute yourself. To accomplish this, click the "Mute" button at the bottom of the video window. However, there are situations in which it might be beneficial to mute other participants as well. If someone is generating an excessive amount of noise through their microphone, or if they are unaware that their microphone is on, you may want to silence it. If you are in a video meeting and someone is making that kind of distracting background noise, you have the option to silence that person and you can anyone from the meeting. It is simple to single out an individual while you are in the midst of a gathering. To pin a participant's thumbnail image, click the Pin Pin button. After that, you will see that individual at the very top of the list.
Google Meet is one of the most prominent tools in my organization as it provides the ease to both students and teachers to work properly. Google Meet is very well suited when you need to interact virtually with the people as it provides a wholesome experience to all the people in the google Meet. It is less appropriate when we need a huge virtual gathering as there is some upper limit for the number of participants.
We use Google Meet as one of the our options for meetings with 3rd parties (meetings that include people outside of our company). The software is quick and lightweight
Pros
Close Captioning
Zero client footprint
Ability to "hide" the "meet is sharing your screen" message
Cons
The "copy link" to get started could include less obnoxious wrapper text - just the link!
Remote control...at least the ability to move the mouse on someone else screen
Likelihood to Recommend
We use Google Meet as one of the our options for meetings with 3rd parties (meetings that include people outside of our company). The zero-install client makes this a friendly choice, but ONLY when we KNOW we will not require remote control. The close caption feature is nice - but a but gimicky, it doesn't add much value.
