We used them to set up/transfer an existing 401k. We closed out a Paychex account and started using QuickBooks payroll. It was a very simple process, we had an onboarding conference call, very simple, and were then assigned a representative who handled everything for us. Much easier than anticipated.

HI reps have been easy to work with and friendly.
HI handled all the behind-the-scenes details so I didn't have to worry about it.

Our set-up is tricky because we employ tutors that act like seasonal employees. The auto-push of info from Rippling to HI is a great feature, but, in our case, it makes things a little jumbled.
That the reps have a clear understanding of what can and cannot be done. I was told that we could switch our 401k to a 403b on the initial call and later told that was not possible

We had been looking for a way to offer a 401(k) plan to our employees for quite a while. As a small employer, this was not an easy task. Once I met with Human Interest, we were able to rapidly create and deploy a plan, and our employees love us for it.

Human Interest representatives met with me and explained all aspects of the product in great detail. I made the choice based on price, flexibility for our employees and ease of use.
We utilize Human Interest to integrate with our HRIS system, Rippling, to make it easy for employees and administrators to manage our group 401k plan. The connection between HI and Rippling makes it much easier for us to ensure we have the most up to date contribution information when issuing paychecks. It's also a very user friendly platform for our employees to manage their contributions.

I've previously recommended it to other small business owners because the administrative costs of managing it are so low and it's very easy to navigate, so it's great for people that manage benefits for the employees in addition to the many other hats small business owners have to wear.
