It's suited for a company that required a great password management solution for upper-level management and very trusted users.
Might not be the best for high turnover employees and requires IT to set up, normal users may have trouble setting it up for the 1st time.
Only one database can be used across a group, if you need tiered access for different levels of logins, this might not be the best.

Alternatives
We have tried Last Pass, while it's very nice to use, there are times where it was down and we couldn't access our passwords. There were troubles with the website or plug-in at times when it was updated. It wasn't as trusted due to these factors being out of our control due to the database not being locally based.
We also tried Bit-Warden, it had most of the features we needed but the feature set was very limited, there wasn't an auto-type, and ease of entering in the password was difficult. Although we loved the user and group management features that we would have liked in KeePass.
