Patchmanager Review
Pros
- Patching cluster of servers.
- Sorting what is already installed vs. what is needed.
- Easy OU management.
Cons
- The actual patching process.
- The GUI can be a little clunky.
- When selecting a server or cluster you select the patches you want to install. After highlighting you have to left click the server or cluster in question to make sure there is a transparent yellow dotted line surrounding it (which can be difficult to see).
Return on Investment
- It is a good tool. It allows us to schedule out our patches and verify any issues we may have had.
- It gets the job done but there are several improvements that be made to the interface.
