Useful Portal Feature: Users appreciate the portal feature of Rocketlane as it provides visibility and enables seamless interaction throughout the entire process. This enhances collaboration, communication, and transparency among team members and clients alike. Overall, these features contribute to improved efficiency and productivity within teams using Rocketlane's platform.
We used Rocketlane to manage project timelines, milestones, timesheets, and status updates for internal and external stakeholders. Business problems addressed by Rocketlane are giving complete transparency and visibility for the teams to manage the project timelines and delivery. I would say it is more of a project management tool. Scope: Plan resource utilization from the project timelines and keep external and internal stakeholders aligned regarding the project timelines, tasks, and status updates. Also, to fill the timesheet.
Pros
The project timelines and tasks feature is nice.
Status updates can be published, which can be seen by external stakeholders/clients even though they are not on Rocketlane or they have not taken Rocketlane subscriptions.
Timesheets can be easily tracked through which resource utilization can be planned.
Cons
Because of too many features, load time has become a little slow.
Sometimes, the feature was not saved. Forex, we wrote something in the task description that was not saved, so the auto-save functionality should be there.
If it can be integrated into Google Meet or Zoom and log the time from the calendar, we don’t have to fill timesheets and create tasks manually.
Likelihood to Recommend
There is project management tracking from the start till the end (onboarding till hypercare). The bifurcation of project stages and pre-built templates is good; you can assign client tasks. Less appropriate: Raising tickets for developers because there is no escalation management option. Let’s say the developer didn’t reply in 24 hours for a high-priority task; this should be automatically escalated to their senior.
Rocketlane is useful tool to manage both in-house enterprise projects plus customer onboarding projects; We were looking for the user friendly project management tool which can be easily managed, plus help project managers to reduce their time on project management related activities and follow-up on pending tasks, resource allocation and task assignment. Rocketlane is supporting us to manage projects efficiently and effectively thanks to Rocketlane tool we can able to save approx. 80-85% time of project managers to manage projects. Following features are highly effective 1) Automatic reminder email on upcoming & overdue tasks to task owners 2) Publishing of Project Status report periodically 3) Resource allocation & capacity planning
Pros

Well Suited; - Reduce project management efforts by 80-85% - User friendly interface doesn't require any special training to project team members - Automatic reminders on due tasks Less appropriate : resource capacity planning
Rocketlane uses as a project management tool. Here we can track the project and add all the data related to the project. And all effort in the project we can add and so many features in it. Task-wise phases so everything come under visible to the client. No need to remember the task date it's come under the due date. You can move the task date as per the client's requirement. Really well a user interface and is easy to use these project plan tools. I really like it so much.
Pros
Time tracked
Project phase
Due dates
Project Overview
Project team
Project Owner
Cons
Project Opening time
Automated time tracked should be there
Every phase has a option to make a call and zoom so time tracked real time
Likelihood to Recommend
This is best in tracking the project status and the visibility to the client so the client gets to know the real-time project status. There is a chat process so the client can communicate with the project owner related to this project. And the client can share the file in the chat as well. project owner also can audit the chat in the private chat so other team members get the information that they required.
The best thing about Rocketlane to date (having used it for about four months now) is the responsiveness of their tech support. They have made updates to the product itself in response to my requests. They also respond with detailed steps to solutions. Our customers have visibility on what is going to happen once they buy our platform and they are updated every week on their progress.I find timesheets as the best feature of rocket lane. I am able to track the time that I spend on each of the project and can figure out which projects/tasks take most of my time in order to prioritize and manage my work.Easy to create task and manage our timeline on different projects so eventually help increase productivity and also the client can track at which stage project is particularly at.
Pros
Project plan feature of Rocketlane makes it easier to understand the timelines, ownership, and due dates of tasks
Cons
Latency Issue
Likelihood to Recommend
Not just project management but also the timesheet feature helps in resource planning

We had an Excel spreadsheet managing our projects, which was clunky and cumbersome to manage and update. This added hours of unneeded labor to the implementation team to complete projects, which delayed our implementation times. Adding Rocketlane has been a game-changer for our organization. No more emails passing a spreadsheet back and forth to the client. All of this is now automated, and so are the status updates. Everything the client needs is put into Rocketlane, and the visibility for management and the client Executive Sponsors also makes this a no-brainer.
Pros
Onboarding/implementation
Standardization of implementation
Features
Keeping clients on track of their tasks
Keeping management up to date with automated status updates
Cons
Nothing. Everything works as intended.
Likelihood to Recommend
Rocketlane is stellar for implementation teams that are looking to automate manual tasks. It's also fantastic for creating visibility for clients and their stakeholders. Internally, this puts the team on the same implementation plan to standardize the client experience and also gives management and internal stakeholders visibility into where we are stuck.
There are also metrics to help us unlock insights into which areas we are taking the longest, so we can work to streamline and adjust our implementation process.

Project Manager in Customer Service (51-200 employees)
We require annual onboarding from all of our almost 400 customers. Rocketlane is used to manage this onboarding process. It allows the customer to have step-by-step instructions with links to pdfs and videos on what they need to do. But it also gives us visibility into where each of our customers are in the onboarding process. Customers can send messages from within Rocketlane which show up in notifications and can also be sent via email to ensure we are fully supporting our customers.
Pros
Gives visibility into where in the process each customer is.
Allows for different processes created for different customers.
Creates a portal for customers to see and interact with the entire process.
Cons
It would be helpful if Rocketlane had a more robust Knowledge base and customer support portal.
Likelihood to Recommend
Rocketlane would work well for any company that needs to empower their customers to complete steps in a process on their own. For example, if you have a detailed onboarding process, you can break this down in Rocketlane. You can add text information, link to documents and videos, and add attachments for your users. You create a plan for each separate customer / business, you can customize based on each user's needs.
If your needs only involve a few customers or you have very few steps needed to complete the process (e.g. onboarding), Rocketlane might be too complicated or involve too much learning / setup for your company.
We use Rocketlane within Professional Services at Flatfile as our all-in-one project management tool. As an Implementation Consultant, I work out of Rocketlane multiple times daily to track tasks, view and update project statuses and customer health, take notes on customer meetings, and keep our customers updated. Before Rocketlane, our team was using many different tools, and it's made a huge difference to have it all consolidated in one place.
Pros
features
responsiveness and helpfulness
task management
Cons
even more customizable dashboards
drag and drop to move tasks and milestones around
Likelihood to Recommend
Rocketlane has helped my team tremendously manage several customer accounts concurrently and collaborate across the team. For example, we have our implementation consultants, customer engineers/solutions architects, customer success managers, and team leads all in Rocketlane and while the implementation consultants and CSMs manage the projects on a granular level, everyone on the team can track different tasks and deadlines in the same place.
