Sage Fixed Assets for Accurate Fixed Asset Management
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We run a full ERP system from another provider. It fulfills most of our needs, however, it lacks a good, fixed asset system. It does not calculate depreciation accurately for our business. We use Sage to track fixed assets and the depreciation on our Fixed Assets and we found that Sage picks up the slack in that area nicely.
Pros
- Managing Fixed Assets
- Calculating Depreciation
- Depreciation Schedule
Cons
- Price
- Depends on SQL database
- Network version limited number of users
Likelihood to Recommend
To me, the best use case for Sage Fixed Assets are: 1. you run a Sage based ERP. or 2. you have an ERP that is limited in its Fixed Asset abilities. We have not done any integration per se, but if we did, it would be fairly easy given the fact that Sage uses SQL tables.
