I have used Stackadapt to capture data to improvise my ad campaign goals. I use this tool purely as a database function. On using this tool, I have seen a massive peak in Advertising ROI and more reliable data. The fact that the tool brings programmatic dimension makes it the best!

StackAdapt is well suited when it comes to data science in Advertising , especially for teams working with high level data and data scientists. This is a great platform for integrations as well. Any company planning to run campaigns and is also using other tools, can opt for StackAdapt.
This may not be very helpful for people working with lesser data or unpaid advertising channels.

We use StackAdapt as an advertising channel for our clients to generate more awareness with their ideal audience. It primarily serves as a top-of-funnel channel that we run along with other channels like Google and Meta ads as a comprehensive marketing approach. It solves our need for a reliable display ads platform with robust audience targeting capabilities, more control, and more trust that our ads are placed on high-quality sites.
Pros
Audience targeting - there are so many options for both B2C and B2B audiences, from browsing behavior audiences to account-based marketing audiences to CRM lists. There's a way to find your ideal audience no matter their industry.
Pixel setup and management are pretty easy. It uses a universal pixel that you can easily place on your site. We use Google Tag Manager for this. Then, you can create any number of conversion events and easily implement them, also with Google Tag Manager, so we can trust we're getting good tracking.
It seems many display ad platforms lack optimization tools, but StackAdapt makes it easy to adjust, add, or remove audiences, pause certain website categories, exclude batches of websites, pause individual ads, and really fine-tune the targeting as you see what works and what doesn't.
Cons
Maybe I'm missing something, but I haven't seen anywhere on the platform that allows me to easily set up dynamic retargeting ads. I know it can be done, but it seems it requires support and help.
An easier ad builder or something like a responsive display ad builder like Google would be useful. It is cumbersome to upload a bunch of different display ad sizes, and the creatives hub doesn't have any templates for regular static display ads. They should incorporate the creative hub into the campaign setup.
Generally, the CPM is pretty high across all ad types, but this is because of the quality of the network of sites manually vetted individually. So we don't get as many clicks and impressions as we could with the same budget on Google, so we have to make sure our ads and targeting are near perfect.

StackAdapt seems to work really well for niche audiences that might be hard to reach in Google display ads. For example, we have a client in the welding industry that sells products to multiple fairly small audiences, like welding schools. We can create and target these small audiences by combining ABM audiences, uploaded lists, and browsing behavior based on contextual terms.
We used StackAdapt at [...] for our campaigns targeting users. (... owns ....) We were not able to get good ROI on the prospecting campaigns, but we got good returns for the retargeting campaigns. The problem with the prospecting campaigns was that we had a very huge audience segment to target. We should have some more third-party audience segments to target by looking at our business Niche. We are currently working with [...] on some new campaigns and looking forward to seeing how those work out. One thing about StackAdapt that we love is the customer service. They are always very responsive on the support team and always willing to help out in a timely manner.
Pros
Good returns for the retargeting campaigns
[..] (A Canada rep) is great at communicating and helping us. She responds very quickly and effectively.
StackAdapt has great customer service and support teams
They are great at adapting to help new campaigns out perform old campaigns
StackAdapt team is also very helpful in walking us through everything and fast at responding
StackAdapt is very flexible with pricing and options and a great starter for small businesses
Cons
We were not able to get good ROI on the prospecting campaigns because our audience was too large
StackAdapt has a lot to learn which is very time consuming. However, on a positive note, the team does respond to support questions very quickly
There is not a Geo-radius function so we do have to use Mapsly for that and they have many crashes
Wish they could do more integrations but they are still growing

We've been using StackAdapt for programmatic advertising of our B2B clients as well as for our own businesses. The 3rd party data it gives is remarkable, a perfect source to use those lists and target them in the programmatic advertising campaign. We're using many other 3rd party tools to extract user's info, but now with StackAdapt, it's even not required. It has made our data management team's work a lot easier.
Pros
Programmatic Advertising
Display advertising
User's Data Management
Cons
Ability to target by company industries
Ability to target more of contextual targeting

It well-suited for us when we're using the programmatic advertising platforms. It's a lot cheaper and have no lock-in contracts and even doesn't require the minimum budget thing.

We use it to run a variety of video campaigns with a number of different objectives. We've leveraged StackAdapt for awareness campaigns, generating a large pool of users to then retarget at a later date with more targeted content, as well as boosting content for clicks in hopes on driving on-page conversions for clients.
Pros
Communication: Their reps are incredibly transparent, thorough and detailed. I really, really appreciate that.
Creativity: Not only are the reps communicative, they actually bring new, fresh ideas to the table. As busy as we are, I can't thank them enough for that.
Easy-to-use: As detailed as the dashboard is, it's actually pretty easy to use and bring new users up-to-speed on.
Cons
I'd like to see easier grouped campaign reporting.
Easy to find benchmarks and anticipated results. I love how LinkedIn's ad platform gives you examples of what to expect with your campaign. Having an easily accessible view of benchmarks and projected results would be great.
Live mockups. Like Teads, I'd love to see shareable mockups of ads to share with stakeholders for approval.

I've only used the platform for video ad distribution, but overall, I've been beyond impressed with the results we've been able to generate for a number of clients thus far. Be it awareness, views, impressions, clicks, or on-page conversions, our various campaigns have generated strong results across the board. We've recently started a retargeting/sequencing campaign, so I'm really interested to see what kind of results that will generate.

We use StackAdapt in both our paid media and earned media departments for native and display ads.
Pros
They have really great customer service. Everyone is assigned a person on their account that can help them with pretty much anything.
The platform is really easy to use. I have no experience doing paid media and I am able to set up campaigns successfully.
The results for our clients have been really impressive and we can continue to ramp up native ad budgets for clients because the results speak for themselves.
Cons
I wish you had the ability to resize images to the recommended sizes straight from the campaign management page, but you have to upload images that are the correct size already.

StackAdapt is great for content promotion, display ads, and native ads of any sorts. I have only used it in this capacity so I'm not sure of other situations where it might not work as well.
At our company, the media department uses StackAdapt across a number of our clients. We use their platform mainly for their native video placements, as well as the ability to run those on custom targets StackAdapt creates based on keywords and site lists we provide. We have also used it to retarget users who have watched at least 50% of one of our promoted videos.
Pros
StackAdapt's video units work particularly well in terms of view rates across both Pre-Roll and Out-Stream video. This is, of course, depending on creative as well, but there has been consistent performance across most of the campaigns I have run.
These video units also serve to drive a decent amount of web traffic to our client's landing page. With CTRs that often out-perform other video centered vendors we have run with.
They are able to retarget users who have watched a portion of your video content with static in-feed native ads. Though we haven't seen many conversions coming from this tactic, the referral traffic has been at or above our benchmarks.
Cons
Their reporting tool seems clunky at first, and not super intuitive to use. But once you spend a little time with it the tool can actually be pretty useful.
Sometimes the dashboard function doesn't properly filter out everything you ask it to, forcing you to refresh the page and try again.
The pacing tool shown in the dashboard often makes no sense in the numbers it represents. My campaigns have just about always delivered in full, so this isn't exactly an issue, but still confusing to look at.

When there is content significant to your clients' branding/goals at the time, StackAdapt is a good tool to reach both current and prospective audiences. The custom targeting capabilities can be a nice addition to a campaign when you want to reach a specific audience based on their intent or topics of interest. If time allows, you can get very granular in the detail of these audiences.
