Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Webex App every day, from all of our meetings to our calls. Without Webex App we would not be able to do our day to day activities. We also use Webex App for our collaboratiion team and when teaching our classes. It is a very key part of our working operations.

  • The Control hub is nice and easy to use

Cons

  • The way certain things are grouped in the control hub
  • Sometimes the way notifications pop up

Likelihood to Recommend

Best suited for where we do all of our meetings and just talking between fellow co workers to get our day to day meetings or our just to contact each other. It is a lot better than trying to message people on their phone. Without Webex App we would not be able to continue on with our jobs.

As a large organisation with a lot of people working from home, a reliable and scalable video conferencing platform is a must have. Webex App offers a plethora of features in multiple price ranges and the free tier is enough for basic use. Advanced tiers offer AI tools and various quality of life updates.

In our organization the Webex app is used for centralized communication and collaboration. It helps us in day to day operations in our various departments. Webex app is integrated into our workflows for internal and external communication. Webex app addressed many business problems for us:

1. With teams spread across various regions, Webex enables seamless communication.
2. Teams can follow up on tasks and decisions without having to schedule a call.
3. Webex consolidates messaging, calling, meetings, whiteboarding and files sharing into one platform.

Our use cases:

1. We use it for real time communication and daily team collaboration.
2. External calls and webinars with clients and partners.
3. Event hosting, announcements and training sessions.

Pros

  • Seamless meeting experience with high quality video
  • Whiteboarding and Interactive Collaboration
  • Persistent team messaging with file sharing
  • Strong security and compliance features

Cons

  • Interface cluttered and unintuitive, they can improve there UI
  • File management is not particularly strong
  • Notifications in Webex can be overwhelming or too limited
  • While Webex offers integrations with many platforms but some third party tool integrations can be difficult to configure
  • On older laptops app can lag

On based of my experience Webex app is well suited where any MNC needs a secure and compliant platform for internal communication and meetings with teams, partners and clients. Big corporations can hosts company wide town hall. A software development team collaborates with marketing, quality assurance team and design teams to launch a new app. A company which requires remote onboarding and training Webex is well suited for them also.

I don't much about the scenario where it is less appropriate but Webex messaging feature is not user friendly as Slack or Microsoft teams for rapid fire communication. The interface can feel bulky for users who just need simple chat.

A complete bundle for company communication

We used Webex App as a internal organization communication portal and we are extremely impressed with the way this app behaves , UI and working as well. We used this for chat , calling , company surveys , discussions pod, even for conferences , video call as well. It has the bundle of inbuilt features with security and efficiency.

Pros

  • Super easy to manage , use and work on the platform.
  • Unbeatable security features for internal company discussions.
  • I can access it from both mobile and laptop with the security

Cons

  • The little issues came with video call performance and message latency mainly on mobiles.
  • It consumes high bandwidth and requires VPN for perfect working.

Likelihood to Recommend

Although with the little issues of bandwidth, Webex gives seamless experience of UI and workflow. The way the product is designed it looks premium and the best part is we can see all the necessary communication option in one roof. The quality of video call are good but if it stretch longer there might be slight quality issue.

My review of Cisco Webex App

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have Webex Meeting boards, so internally we use them to have our meetings with people who work from home or are from another company. We also use it to plan stuff in projects and by doing it like that we stimulate people to come to the office so that they can talk in person and share their files on the board in the meeting. And thus improving communication.

Pros

  • the sound and voice quality in meetings is amazing
  • using the board as a whiteboard is incredebly easy

Cons

  • maybe the fluidity of the ai that keeps everyone in focus of the camera could be smoother

The setup and using the boards and app is incredibly easy to get to know. and planning in the app provides a really good insight into what's on the agenda and who is involved with that meeting. And for new users its easy to get to know.

Webex App has been a very helpful online, web based meeting platform. I've used it for many years for many online group conference calls and or collaboration meetings with great success. The app is easy to use and navigate, works on with both apple and andriod platforms, and can be used by your entire team.

Webex App is our main collaboration tool, used to allow communication across voice, meetings and video medias. It is used for internal & external communication and is integrated with other applications including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, ServiceNow and Salesforce.

Webex App is used as a tools for connectivity among all project members. It is used to make instant calls, messages and presentations. We can easily collaborate virtually without any limitations. Also send and receive files in chats easily. Project meeting and plannings will happen smoothly without any problem using this software.

A reliable partner for a no limits communication

With Webex App I am able to connect with my colleagues everywhere and every time even if I am not at office and without a PC desktop.
Webex App works both for meeting that I start and the ones for that I am a guest.
Webex App is also connected to our email manage system which is Outlook, and perfectly interacts with my calendar and appointments .
Colleagues at this time are located in different places and sometimes communication could be difficult but with Webex App this is easier because in a virtual room we can connect and interact one with each other, also sharing documents. This works also with external partners because Webex App can be used not only internally, and this is the best value for solving our business problems.
So, basically, the scope of the use case is improve internal and external communication without space or time limits.

  • Sometimes has problems when you use many simultaneous connections with Phone and laptop
  • When sharing big data files the Webex App freeze
  • When you are on a meeting and you receive at the same time a phone call, the phone call has priority so other people continue to see you connected on the Webex App virtual room and are speaking with you but you are on the phone call.

We use Webex App at work to hold team meetings. The audio of Webex App is aways so crisp and clear. In regard to the video, there is very minimal buffering. It's easy to use and has many helpful features for working together online. Webex App is very consistent performance wise. Overall, my experience with Webex App has been positive.
