Use Cases and Deployment Scope
My company (a large, national urgent care chain) has used XpertCoding for about 2 years now in order to streamline our medical coding. We have worked with their team to tailor the product to our specific setting as they are very open to suggestions that lead to improvement. We have had many iterations and needed many months but ultimately their algorithm is much faster and more efficient than human coders. They have helped us optimize our billing in terms of making sure that charts go to the payors with the correct billing codes and are able to process them so quickly in order for us to be paid for our services in a timely manner.
Pros

Cons
- Integrate more AI into the product so there is less manual coding needed for the algorithms
- Allow more customization of their dashboard
Return on Investment
- The initial work required to get the product fully up to speed was a heavy lift for several employees but now the product works smoothly allowing for a large return on investment
- The product has freed up our medical coder to be able to spend more time on education and the charts that have increased complexity
