Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight
We use Draftsight to view/edit drawings and create sketches from scratch. It is used a lot when we convert our SOLIDWORKS drawings to DXF in order to program our VNC machines. It is a great product at a great price. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Pros
- Ability to view/edit DXF and DWG
- Ability to trace images
- Very similar to AutoCad
Cons
- Little hard to get used to commands.
- Customer support is a little hard to get a hold of.
- 3D drafting is a bit hard to get used to.
- Cost effectivness
- User-friendly
- Wish support was more accessible when needed.
