Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

DraftSight is a great alternative to AutoCAD. It was easy to acclimate to the minor differences in the two as far as actually using the software. From a cost difference it is night and day. We use it for designing fire alarm systems so we don't really use all the features available, like 3D modeling.

Pros

  • Price point.
  • General CAD. ( That's all I really do.)

Cons

  • Nothing that I can see.
  • The value is amazing compared to AutoCAD.

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
I only need a small amount of the programs capability. DraftSight is great for the design level that I perform. We do not use 3D modeling.
