Overall Satisfaction with Procore
We implemented Procore company-wide approximately 12 months ago. The roll out has been phased, however, we saw immediate benefits for document control and distribution. Getting the right information in the hands of the people who need it is paramount.
Pros
- Document control - you know you always have the latest drawings and specifications.
- RFI - asking and management of questions is very easy. Responses on the part of the design professionals are also streamlined via email.
- Email tracking - allowing for use of email tracking to maintain a chain and limit misinformation.
Cons
- Photos - they are difficult to track down at times. The use of folders helps this, but can still be burdensome.
- Budget tool - the tool requires one to modify how they operate versus being highly modifiable and intuitive.
- Streamlines document control and prevented errors in the field.
- Interfaces with Assemble to allow for distribution of BIM models without the need for extra software, etc.
