Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Because QuickBase is a customizable software it enables us to track the minor trust accounts in the way that fits our needs the best. There are only a few of us that have access to this software.

Pros and Cons

Pros

It is a software that you create to suit your needs.
The software is always being updated and there has never been a down time for us.
The applications are limitless if you have the time to create them.

Cons

Because Quickbase has so many different possible uses, it would be nice if they had a consultant who would spend a day with you helping to setup your software, and then if they would check back with you to see how things are going periodically.
So many of the formulas are very tricky and can be difficult to tweak for a new application. Perhaps a wizard of sorts could be implemented.

Alternatives Considered

Quickbase was the only software to do what we needed and simply put is "because I wrote it the way we needed it".

If you need to track anything, Quickbase will help you do that flawlessly. The background date stamping is awesome to see when changes were made and by whom. If you need personalized reports, this program is great for that, love it.
