Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Quickbase is used in my organization for project management. It is an excellent tool that allows for fluid movement of project information instead of static documents.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Quickbase is easy to access and update unlike traditional documentation sites, it allows information to stay fluid and up to date versus static.
The automatic notifications prevent action items from being forgotten.

Cons

I would like to see historical changes that were made in Quickbase. Right now, I can add a history of when a document was changed but I can't see what changed.

Quickbase does a fantastic job of keeping this real time unlike Project Central which only stores static information that is hard to update. However, Project Central allows me to see historical changes whereas Quickbase doesn't have that capability.

Likelihood to Recommend

Quickbase is great! It allows for information to stay up to date and for tasks to not be forgotten. It's great for small to midsize projects. However, traffic can easily slow it down so it wouldn't be beneficial on a massive scale.
