If you want to implement process faster than ever, QuickBase could be the solution.

Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

Quickbase has been used during last 4 years across the whole organization. We have many assets world wide so QuickBase helped us avoid intranets, logins and restricted access for clients and people who belong to multiple assets. Many of the organization's processes work in the same way for all assets, so we just replicate for each one.

Pros

  • Quickbase can be integrated with LDAP active directory and it avoids issues regarding identity supplantation.
  • Quickbase provides a lot of functional examples that can be customized to our company.
  • If you need to implement a process in a short period, Quickbase makes it quicker and faster than other tools.
  • The learning curve is short and in less than a week you can start developing and implementing apps.
  • Users, Roles and Permissions are easy to manage to customize each app.
  • Creating reports is quick and very intuitive.

Cons

  • API has to be improve definitely, there's a lack of examples.
  • Controls need more validators to avoid entering wrong data.
  • Formula fields need functions to make developments faster than now.
  • If you want to copy an app with many related tables to another app, it could be a mess because in some cases relationships will disappear.
Quickbase is well suited in big companies where final users are going to be managers or high profile people because they know exactly what to do and you don't have to be worried about exhaustive validation. If you are trying to implement a huge process that requires validation and involves calculation, you should work on custom software.
