Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform

In our organization, we use Veeam Data Platform primarily for data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity. The platform supports our on-premises, cloud, and hybrid IT infrastructure by providing reliable and secure backup and recovery. Veeam Data Platform enables us to recover data quickly in the event of accidental deletion, hardware failure, ransomware attacks, or natural disasters to reduces potential downtime and data loss. ALso the platform helps us meet regulatory requirements like FERPA by keeping student records safe

  • Integrate M365 backup more into the main Veeam Data Platform console.
  • Improve search and restore performance for large Exchange or SharePoint backups
  • Reduced Downtime and Faster Recovery
  • Scalability Without Major Reinvestment
  • Complexity for Smaller Teams
Veeam Data Platform offered a more user-friendly interface and a faster uptime for data repopulation. Plus no software hacks reported was a bonus.

Good Use: Virtual Environments, M365 Environments or more specifically Microsoft Windows environments since this is so pushed towards Windows

Bad use: IoT environments since there is minimal storage that needs backed up. Mac or Linux environments since this is mainly windows based and Mac is very limitedly supported. A lot of schools have Both windows and Mac environments
