Pros
- The interface is easy to navigate and user-friendly.
- Very robust functions in scheduling and building out a detailed project plan.
- Handy features to tag individuals in important tickets and assign work.
Cons
- We use this tool for our Agile development, this could be fleshed out more.
- Adding functionality to prioritize work in Sprints can be enhanced
- Managing the comments on tickets can get a little overwhelming at times.
- Positive impact to our development flow. Previously we did not have a specific system.
- Positive impact on our ability to field requests.
- Negative impact on our user adoption (not necessarily a negative on the product) but getting users excited to use the tool can be a challenge.
We did not have a prior tool or system in place. We used spreadsheets and email, there was no fluid organization. For certain tasks we used a home grown system internally. Workfront came recommended as other individuals had used it previously and it came recommended to be implemented. Workfront was our main option.
