Dubsado is more customizable and with robust features. Also, the user interface is visually pleasing but definitely has steep learning curve. Once you get the hang of it, it’s very easy especially with other developers helping users create beautiful form, proposals with ease …
Dubsado is more of an all in one, is affordable for small business and the usability far out weighs any other platform. The automation is reliable and I would never switch to another provider.
I have tried a few alternatives Honey Book - similar system, Dubsado has much better features in terms of customizing the estimates and allows to automate the sending of forms. I left Honey Book for Dubsado. Clust Doc - not the same, but it does overlap in terms of automation …
Dubsado overall is so multifunctional that the other platforms didn't stand a chance. I will say I do use ClickUp alongside Dubsado. Dubsado isn't super awesome for task organization and management, but ClickUp blows all the other task management software out of the water. …
It's great if you want to set up all of your client management so that you don't have to keep manually going through every step. It's so nice for me and my clients to have all of their forms streamlined and automated.
Dubsado is perfect for service-based businesses and I always recommend to my clients, the only time it doesn't work is if someone doesn't have the budget yet or is a start up.
Invoicing & expense reporting all in one place! I don't have to spend hours poring over my bank account transactions to find my biz expenses anymore!
The built-in call scheduler is awesome! I can create various appointment schedulers with multiple availabilities, and collect payments right up front, too!
Dubsado also has a sweet Client Portal where my clients can login and see all their activity with me at a glance.
Prior to this I was using only Stripe for my invoices and I loved that I could see all of my recurring client payments under "subscriptions." There might be a way to do this in 17Hats, but I'm just not sure. I like to be able to quickly see all of my current clients at a glance.
It's been really great to use with my clients, but I cannot speak to setting it up as my VA handled all of that for me. I anticipate using it for a long time.
There are no words I can say to accurately capture how much Dubsado has changed my client onboarding experience (And also how much time it has saved me!!!!)
They don’t have live support chat but they have email support. They get back to their customers fairly quickly and continues to provide free resources that will help users understand how it works. The only thing is that they take time when it comes to implementing features that makes so much sense to implement given many users have encountered similar issues while using the tool. But they have a great social community so that helps.
Dubsado is more customizable and with robust features. Also, the user interface is visually pleasing but definitely has steep learning curve. Once you get the hang of it, it’s very easy especially with other developers helping users create beautiful form, proposals with ease without needing to know how to code. HoneyBook is not available for people outside USA & Canada. I haven’t used 17hats for a very long time but the user interface is pretty much the same
It takes a lot of time to set up, but once you do (or hire a professional) you will have an amazing and efficient system that allows for an excellent client experience
Having tried other platforms, I appreciate the customizable features of Dubsado not found elsewhere. Its workflows/automations are superior to some other systems
