EchoSpan 360-Degree Feedback is an employee surveying and evaluation tool. It features a competency library for testing employees, as well as reporting and developmental suggestions.
As a 360 assessment it rates very well when compared to our previous vendor. 360-Degree Feedback is more affordable so it allows departments to avail themselves of the opportunity to help their team members learn more about themselves, which would have been cost-prohibitive with our previous vendor. The support department has been FANTASTIC! Quick responses on all any small issues and easy to work with for customizing templates. The system allows us to add rater groups and increase the group sizes easily.
Quick adaption came from the ease of use and that is why I would recommend it. If you need more robust cascading goal capabilities you might have to work at it
We've experienced challenges beginning new review cycles without old cycles not being closed out
The UI is OK, but nothing special (a new version has been released, but we've not upgraded yet)
We currently don't have any sort of integration between ReviewSnap and our payroll system for hires/terms. I'm not sure if this is possible or not but wasn't discussed when we implemented it.
I have used Echospan for over 8 years, and they have provided a consistent high level of customer service. I have recommended Echospan to many other clients and colleagues, and they have all been happy as well. I recommend Echospan to any size organization without any reservations
I've seen or used several of the other 360 tools. EchoSpan is better in nearly every way. It is more customizable. It can be administered completely by someone internally, so no need to request someone to set up a 360 - you can just do it yourself. Competency library is great, and you can create others if you want to. Reports are easy to interpret. Very good customer service
Reviewsnap has been comparable to most the systems I've used in the past. I wouldn't say that one of the systems I've used and mentioned above sticks out far above or below the others.
It's saved us a lot of paper and confusion. We used to use a lot of paper to track reviews from all over the organization. Now we use Reviewsnap to keep track of reviews and to use old reviews as reference when discussing goals.
The cloud-based system is great due to the fact that we have satellite offices around the US. You can even do a review from Alaska if required.
Initially the customer service was great and responsive during deployment. Once the deployment was complete, the HR director reported having a hard time contacting support.
