ON24 is an intelligent engagement platform, that enables customers to continuously engage audiences with AI-powered, hyper-personalized webinar, virtual event and content experiences.
I think Captivate stacks up against Zoom well. In particular we chose Connect for its accessibility features. As an organization we need to make sure everything we produce/push-out is accessible.
We ultimately ended our use of Adobe Connect due to continued issues, lack of resolution & loss of participants. Currently we are using Microsoft Teams as it is our primary communication tool at our organization.
There is no doubt that Adobe Connect is far and above the best platform for training. Its complexity is overshadowed by the benefits it offers. Two examples are multiple chats and polls at the same time make the learning experience better for the learner.
I was not involved in purchasing Adobe Connect, but if I have to give one reason why I would select it among other similar apps it would be because of its device compatability.
Adobe Connect is better for hosting online training sessions. It seems to provide more control over the virtual meeting environment when compared to Teams. Although both offer many of the same features it just seems that Adobe Connect is the easier product to use.
Adobe Connect has a feature for event management, which ensures even a bigger number of players can be involved in any meeting. There is a private chat option from Adobe Connect, which is instant, and effective. Adobe Connect has a mobile access option, with high compatibility, …
Adobe Connect is more powerful than Skype. It keeps advanced kinds of functionalities and responsive customer support. Also, I like the way it is enhancing its services day by day.
I feel that Adobe stacks up very favorably to Skype. They both have a lot of the same feature sets. I would say the main difference between the two is that Skype has the ability to operate in low bandwidth scenarios better and has had less of a problem with dropped calls. If …
Adobe connect is cheaper than Zoom. There are so many features like multiple hosts and presenters who can collectively take over the meetings. You can also create polls or questionnaires in the form of quizzes. There is also a chat option. User engagement can easily be figured …
Adobe Connect comes in last place compared to the other platforms. Aesthetically it is very outdated and does not seem as modern as compared to the other platforms.
i have in the past used webex, zoom, skpe, teams. For what I need it for, [Adobe Connect] works well. Webex, skype, teams are nice in the sense the audio is built in, however [Adobe Connect] offers more in the way of file sharing, link sharing, chats, polling and those are …
Adobe in terms of functionality is competitive with the other platforms out there. It has a strong reputation and seems to solve most of the organization's issues, however, it is more costly and isn't as user-friendly as it could be. It appears to have a lot of functionality …
Based on Client requirements we have used Third party live event softwares. Since all those having similar functionality relating to Live event. But some have different and high features. Some other software have easy navigation and Separate Hub for Some workspaces and some have …
The best part in my view is running in a browser. This is such a great thing because you get around companies having firewall or security software that can block it from running properly.
From what I've seen, ON24 is built specifically to meet the needs of event marketing (or marketing generally), versus the other platforms which are more about simply providing a mechanism to hold virtual meetings. The integration with sales and marketing systems is really …
ON24 is better than an average videoconference app because it's a holistic software that specializes in events in particular, so it's more engaging for the audience. It's different from Blackboard Collaborate because even though Blackboard Collaborate is great for college …
ON24 is a 3rd party virtual event integrated with Marketo Since we can not conduct event in Marketo ON24 full promo Marketo template clone ON24 URL, ON24 base link, event id and key tokens (event details given by marketer) ON24 Attendee Webhook trigger Once email is sent in …
It is more expiensive but the easiest to use. I think once we get Hubspot integrated properly, we will like it the best! If you have the money I think it is the best choice!
We have used In-expo way back in the day :) they did not provide the same support or confidence that ON24 has. We got with ON24 and have never looked back!
ON24 provides way more opportunities for customization of the virtual spaces. ON24 has an efficient process for uploading resources and making them accessible to the attendees. ON24 has more protection measures to ensure only registered clients can attend the sessions. ON24 …
Stream go is a smaller organisation but their ability to offer in event support as standard at no extra cost is to be applauded and very much essential when we have different people putting events on all of the time. ON24 may be better suited to large global organisations, …
I think when it comes to the list of features that you want for your webinar platform, ON24 checks more boxes than any other provider. It's not perfect. We will likely use a different platform when we need the audience to be able to come off mute but that's really our only …
ON24 offers way more branding and personalization options then GoTo did in the past. We currently are really able to set up the webinar consoles to our branding. Next to that On24 offer more engagement options. Also the reporting both per event and on account level are more …
ON24 is an overall immersive client experience. Our firm values the ability to completely brand each element of the event, from registration, email communication and the full event console. We also find the Certification tool to be instrumental in our continuing legal education …
We previously hosted our webinars on Zoom, which was a much less interactive format and not really scaled for such large-scale events that we have been hosting. The On24 consoles are really great and we are able to have links to share with our audience. The on-demand format …
Teams can be considered a competitor for ON24. It is free for us to use. However, it does not allow for the same level of analytics or customization. There is no back-end area for the presenters that allows for better control of the presentation. Cheaper, but misses on a lot of …
Adobe Connect is wonderful for repeatable branded learning experiences or webinars. They allow for creating an event with a series of similar layouts. The ability to alter these are easy, and duplicating layouts makes for fast alterations. Changing between layouts also creates visual interest as learners see things shift. Adobe Connect also is great for accessibility, the captions allow for resizing and placing the captions in various sections. The recordings also can have a searchable transcript to get to the information you want fast. Adobe Connect allows for running fun games/events as well, there are lots of apps that make the experience unique, and allows for managing content on screen as you'd like.
Having a platform where you can engage customers. It’s not only about the presentation, the polling, and customer engagement allows us to get feedback from customers. A major win for us is that it requires zero software to be downloaded. Running it within the browser window is such a huge impact. When webinar providers have software involved there could be issues with the end user trying to install and run it due to security settings or software.
It's a quick method to exchange files, file, documents, and videos from a web app. Real-time conversation, and screen-sharing are all supported. It has a highly user-friendly interface. It is really simple to assist the teams.
Even team engagements is beneficial since it allows them to share their expertise with others, and the big benefit is the security of the rooms' access is fairly simple to manage.
The interface, which include features like notes, chat, pods, etc. When we're trying to gather rapid and exact information, simplify our work as much as possible.
Adobe Connect's features since they allow team members to express their ideas during meetings without causing disruptions, thereby bypassing the current international boundary of distance.
Webinars hosted in ON24 run smoothly and never lag, and the help desk is very responsive.
Detailed analytics in every field include surveys, unique clicks, and downloads.
Registration details and multi-registration links in ON24 are very helpful and allow us to add additional registration fields and restrict certain domains.
Without multiple screens, you can't really see the room while you're screen sharing, making it harder (but not impossible) to monitor chat, and, I think, not possible to see others' webcams.
ON24 sometimes does not work well with some of our clients firewall and VPN if they are attempting to join from their office.
ON24 can sometimes freeze and our trainers are unable to resolve the issue and are forced to reschedule the session or move to another platform available.
ON24 does not track the correct data for our number of registrants for forums events. So, the analytics component is not valuable to us.
The longer you use Adobe Connect, the longer you are likely to use it. Because you can build more and more resources over time, creating rooms that you re-use, recorded content you can repurpose, and tools that form the basis of ever increasing productivity, the more you use Connect, the more productive you become. Unlike competing products where, with every meeting you essentially start over -- setting up your resources for each meeting -- in my Connect rooms, I have highly tuned tools to accomplish my knowledge transfer goals. When I want to conduct another session - I send a link out to the appropriate room and instantly we are all focusing on getting a job done together. This ability of Adobe Connect to make you productive at an ever quickening rate is a competitive advantage
Our Marketing team has seen significant time savings with the number of webinars we produce since using ON24. It's very scalable, and the onboarding and training for a new team member is fairly easy. The customer support of the ON24 team has also been impressive. They also release new feature on a fairly regular basis, and the webinars they do focused on customers are beneficial.
I give this rating because the connectivity issue is way too big of an issue for me. The reception connectivity issue even though I'm hardwired to my internet is constantly dropping to the point where my trainer is constantly cutting out. And I know it's not an internet issue on my end because I have a very high amount of connectivity with my internet provider here in Ontario Canada. I have one of the highest download and upload packages that you can get with my service provider. And I'm able to surf the Internet and use all of the programs connected to our VPN without any issues whatsoever.
97% of our attendees say it is the best trainings they have every attended. But they other 3% have a horrible experience (while watching the event live) interesting fact. On24 uses two different encoders for live vs OnDemand. I have never had issues with the On-Demand experience. My only complaints come during live events
ON24 is always available when I have a question about a new feature, if I'm having issues during a live webinar, or if I'm having issues with a webinar on the backend. Our client support specialist, Heather Haines, has always been incredibly consistent with getting me the answers I need when I need them.
Loading depends on how large the files in the webinar for us - sometimes it takes up to an hour to upload and that impacts the loading when the webcast is playing. Overall I'm happy with the performance, however if integrated with other systems it does tend to slow down the process
The customer support of Adobe connect is professional and well-skilled for resolving our minor and major issues. Moreover, it has almost all the features that will provide you a secure connection, with people across the world. Education institutes can also implement this software. On the basis of its quality and technology, I will surely advise you to try it once.
ON24 support is really good with the 24/5 support chat line, where someone actually responds within 30 seconds. The customers success team is also really good and our rep is very helpful with all our questions. Whenever we have more technical questions, she will bring on a IT designer or a tech specialist on our calls for additional comments and help.
The ability to have most of the functionality of a full LMS at a fraction of the cost is huge. I can create manage and deploy both synchronous and asynchronous training based on the situation and all of my training is tracked through a series of easily created reports
On24 has amazing ON-Demand trainings that you can use at anytime and they walk you through step by step on different topics/ they are always updating and innovating and putting out new trainings. I would highly reccomend the trainings and reading the documents they have created. They also do live webinars on a rolling basis that are filled with so much knowledge and Information
Prices do not seem to vary much among resellers of the Adobe Connect hosted license; the only price variation you're likely to find are among the audio providers. When implementing, you may also wish to look into expanding the amount of storage you are allowed on the server to avoid any problems later on as your library of files starts to build up
We had a few training's, which were broken up, and focused on specific areas of how to use the platform. Mostly though, a lot of it is just dedicating your time to learning and exploring what the possibilities are for enhancing your webinars
Adobe Connect has a feature for event management, which ensures even a bigger number of players can be involved in any meeting. There is a private chat option from Adobe Connect, which is instant, and effective. Adobe Connect has a mobile access option, with high compatibility, and other programs may lack the ability. Finally,. Adobe Connect supports surveys, and polls can easily be executed from the program
We selected ON24 due to organizational alignment and tool consolidation but I am more than happy with the decision to move over to this tool. It has been by far the easiest and least frustrating webinar tool I have used in 5+ years of digital marketing. It allows me to bring the product marketers asks closer to reality.
The ON24 platform is straightforward to use and train clients on, which is a huge plus. Clients appreciate its features and simplicity. Internally, we receive valuable analytical data from webinar events, enabling the organization to make data-driven decisions. This helps us optimize strategies and drive success for B2B businesses effectively.
Overall, the investment has been alright and has made sense. I'm not privy to all of the numbers, but it seems like the ROI has been fine. It's resolved most issues regarding virtual conferencing.
It does sound like Adobe is on the expensive end versus other competitor platforms, so smaller organizations may not be suited for this platform.
Some competitor platforms may offer more features and more robust experiences, with a more user-friendly user interface as well.
