Airbnb for Work
Chose Airbnb for Work
Vast coverage, easy-to-use website, lots of options, reasonably priced, better ROI, comfortable stays
Chose Airbnb for Work
Airbnb for Work is very useful for any city. Our practicality of staying where we want is excellent, it really helps us a lot and I'm sure it has already "saved" several people who made last minute reservations, just like me hahaha. We have other platforms that can also help …
Chose Airbnb for Work
I currently use TripActions for work at one business in addition to using Airbnb -- Airbnb is great for a place to stay, but TripActions consolidates all travel with a one-time fee per trip -- so car, air, hotel -- all for a $15 fee. Airbnb, however, opens up more places to …
Chose Airbnb for Work
I selected Airbnb for Work specifically because it was created to meet the direct needs I had. When trying to find a location in new places to work from and get details into those options it was provided by this platform. Also making it easy to share these options with other …
Chose Airbnb for Work
Airbnb for Work provides cheaper prices rooms or stay for longer stay for our employees and sometimes it provides great offers as well when we rebook the same stay, and locations which Airbnb for Work provides are usually near to our workplace so we require very less travel …
Chose Airbnb for Work
I have not used comparable products. I used other hotel booking websites that were verified in accordance to our travel policy. But those only allowed hotel bookings.
Chose Airbnb for Work
Airbnb for Work is much more user-friendly than any of the SAP offerings. I just used it because it was asked of me for work (aka I was not a decision-maker on this topic) but it is also nice to use a familiar interface and it is far more intuitive.
Chose Airbnb for Work
The biggest advantage of Airbnb for Work against other travel management solutions is clearly Airbnb's experience with personal travel.
Most of the locations are great and engaging, and do make the business trip experience something new.
On the other hand, Concur Travel and …
Chose Airbnb for Work
We have only used Airbnb for Work. We book hotels through TripActions and that has also been a positive experience, but there are cases where our travelers prefer to book Airbnb and we encouraged them to do so. We've also had many employees choose to book Airbnb when on …
Lola.com
Chose Lola.com
We tried Amex Global Business Travel before but that was not a good experience and it was hard to use. Everyone constantly complained about them and they charge a lot of fees. Lola.com is much much better.
Chose Lola.com
Feature-wise, Lola.com was not as robust as some of their competitors at the time we'd started with Lola, but they've made good progress in this sense to catch up with the other providers. Cost-wise, it was a no-brainer to give Lola.com a shot.
Chose Lola.com
I think the Customer Service with Lola.com is far superior and really what sets them a part from the other Travel Management services. And they listen to feedback and are always looking to continuously improve their product.
Chose Lola.com
We didn't look into other services as Lola met our needs and our price point so we signed up without comparing it.
Chose Lola.com
Lola has made booking significantly quicker and easier and allows me to continue to accrue points with the brands I frequent in my personal life. Tracking has been incredibly easy with the calendar integration
Chose Lola.com
Lola.com is much easier to use in terms of UX. Very little Admin and/or user training is needed to get up and running with Lola.com -- which increases our ability to quickly scale the solution. However, I would say that Concur is able to do more inside the travel arena with the …
Chose Lola.com
It's a simple, easy tool for an individual traveler. It does not have the breadth of features that Egencia has but it has the core things that matter. For management, it probably does not have the breadth of features for managing larger groups of travelers.
Chose Lola.com
We haven't used or evaluated other travel management platforms because they always seemed geared towards larger, enterprise-level companies. For us, Lola.com was appealing because it seemed well suited to a company of our size, and we really loved the personal attention that is …

It is great for those travelers looking for longer-term accommodations, such as greater than a week or a few weeks. For those staying for only a day or two, it can still be useful, but a hotel may be more appropriate for these kinds of stays. Moreover, many of our travelers like the ability to have a full apartment due to the nature of their stay or the length, and thus using this allows us this added flexibility in finding accommodations with this.

We are currently in the process of planning our company wide retreat in which we need at least 69 people to book their flights. While with that many people traveling at once, I do suspect I'll get some questions and have to assist some folks however by using Lola.com, the time I would have spent prior will be cut drastically. And I'll be able to see who is taking what flight and obtain departure and arrival information without much interruption to anyone's day. Prior to Lola.com this task would have been something truly daunting, but not this time!

Cons
  • Too many listings.
  • A lot of filters (could be good to have preset saved filters that the traveler always wants).
  • Wishlists include listings that may be already booked, so I don't want to see those.

  • Room for existing features to grow and expand, especially on the administrative side
  • Visually-speaking, the overall layout and color scheme used within the site, specifically when it comes to placement and contrast of key text info, has led to some confusion at times
  • Need for more support of existing travel rewards accounts

This is just my guess as I'm not involved in the decision aside from providing feedback on using Lola. I think, from what I've heard, that everyone likes Lola and we'll renew the usage. I say this because we're an all-remote company and this greatly solves the logistics of booking flights for everyone.

Usability
The user interface is very user friendly. It makes it easy to filter through the different options it has to offer based on price, location, and the scenery you as the customer would most prefer. This is an extremely helpful feature when there are so many choices to choose from

Lola is simple and straight to the point in regards to usability. I didn't have to figure things out and felt that the interface was intuitive. I loved it.

Lola's customer support is fantastic. They have frequently contacted us when there are travel alerts, or anticipated flight cancellations to re-book us before it was too late. They are always helpful and pleasant and we have never had any issues.

Return on Investment
  • It has helped our organization to save costs since one place can accommodate many co-workers rather than booking rooms for only two people where the team travels in a group.
  • Better deals are available if you are regular customer
  • Upgrade options are available which help save money rather than buying a premium suite

  • They have made travel cheaper, so that is a direct reflection to our customers and to us.
  • Customer Service just makes the stress of travel on our employees not so bad. Knowing we have someone to stand behind us while we travel goes a long way
