I used Indeed.com at a former employer with similar success to ApplicantPro. Only about 10% of applicants have been qualified for the positions I've posted. I've had better luck with recruiters. While they cost more, the applicants they find are qualified and have proven to be …
These two systems are similar in that they track applicants, can store offers, automate email responses and allow easy job posting. I think that PeopleSoft is a little more advanced and has more overall options/safeguards, where as ApplicantPro is still in a learning phase both …
ApplicantPro is super user friendly and pushes out to many free job sites. ApplicantPro is also easy to train managers on and the interface makes it easy to review applications quickly.
We are just implementing UltiPro. It has an ATS module and does a lot of things equally well and some better. Applicant Pro is probably half the cost. Also, UltiPro requires an account with eQuest to post to state job boards and local job boards, this is an added cost. It …
ApplicantPro was the software the company was using when I got into the business. It was very easy to learn and I pick up on it fast. It has been one of the only software that has been so easy to learn. We recently switched over to Icims talent tracking software and it was much …
Hyrell was much easier to use, cheaper and the support from the team has been outstanding. When this was launched, we had each of our managers attend an online webinar. If they were unable to view this, then there have been monthly training sessions available as well as …
I have viewed demos for several different Applicant Tracking Systems, and Hyrell was the winner every time. One of our requirements was ease of use (If our managers struggle with functionality, they will not use it). Anyone with basic computer skills can use Hyrell....it's that …
Pricing was more reasonable, interface was more user-friendly and had all of the features we were looking for in an ATS system, and representatives were less pushy and more focused on meeting business needs.
As stated before
in a previous question. I get a good number of competing companies calling me
each month attempting to obtain our company as a partner. When I explain to the
Hyrell came up against ClearFit and ZipRecruiter. ClearFit looked very strong, but ultimately its pay per posting model didn't provide enough cost certainty. ZipRecruiter seems to be a strong player too. There was a lot of flash with ZipRecruiter but the product didn't seem as …
We used Jobing prior to learning about Hyrell to post our positions. There was no way to evaluate candidate answers in Jobing and we found that Hyrell was a much more all encompassing system and relatively user-friendly for us to use. I am very happy with Hyrell and have no …
There are many applicant tracking systems out there. Many were too big, involved and complex (expensive) for a small company hiring at one location. I tried out several other systems; Hyrell was the cleanest interface, most intuitive and offered better functionality than the …
I would have thought ApplicantPro would be good for lower level positions such as accounting clerks; however, I have not had much luck finding qualified applicants for these positions through ApplicantPro. I'm not sure if this has to do with a software or the current state of affairs in the US with COVID-19.
I am not an HR expert, however the recruitment process has recently been given to me as a part of our marketing and communications efforts. As someone who is not a seasoned professional in the hiring process, Hyrell has been a godsend. It allows me to manage the process and screen applicants very easily, provides automated templates for different stages throughout the hiring process, and offers great reporting options to gain insight into the effectiveness of our efforts. For these reasons, I would say Hyrell is particularly well-suited for a small business where employees may have to wear several hats and may not necessarily be HR professionals
While Applicant Pro interfaces with many HRIS platforms to streamline onboarding, unfortunately this option is not available for us (though I'm not sure if that's Applicant Pro's fault or our HRIS provider's fault).
Candidate profiles and ability for candidates to sign up for job alerts.
No longer a "stream" on the main dashboard to provide an overview of everything occurring in all jobs. Now, we are required to go into each individual job for that stream. This is a change from the old system.
It is NOT OFTEN that one gets in marriage what one is promised in courtship. Our business relationship with Hyrell has proven to be on sound footing, as Hyrell lives up to what they state in their first meeting with a potential business partner.
I have never had to wait for response. Someone always speaks directly to me, sometimes more than once, and email follow-up keeps the issue in the field of vision until there is a resolution.
These two systems are similar in that they track applicants, can store offers, automate email responses and allow easy job posting. I think that PeopleSoft is a little more advanced and has more overall options/safeguards, where as ApplicantPro is still in a learning phase both within themselves and for us as a company
Hyrell was much easier to use, cheaper and the support from the team has been outstanding. When this was launched, we had each of our managers attend an online webinar. If they were unable to view this, then there have been monthly training sessions available as well as one-on-one help for the less techy folks in the company.
Hyrell has kept us moving, tracking and hiring strong candidates, even has we have moved from hiring 1 or 2 people a month to 3 or 4 a week! Great program, good features and fantastic supportl (Thanks, Emily!!!)
My client has found very strong candidates much quicker than ever before. This has provided the foundations for the desired business growth.
The quality of the candidates coming from this platform has energized the company. Recruiting can be a dull game for many managers, but with Hyrell they see it as opportunity to easily and quickly find the right candidate to help them achieve their goals.
It has provided much more confidence to the company that they will be able to find the resources they need to successfully grow while they implement their business plan. It has enabled projects and plans to move forward to ready the company for its mission.
