Employee Navigator
Chose Employee Navigator
We have found Employee Navigator to be much more user friendly not only to admin staff but to employees as well. Reporting is much simpler. We can find reports and get accurate information easier.
Chose Employee Navigator
[Employee Navigator] knocks them out of the park and honestly isn't even in the same category as far as what it offers. In comparison Navigator is Windows 10 and Beacon is still on a dot matrix system.
Chose Employee Navigator
Qualtrics is another big name in the space and was something I have a little experience with as a user. It does offer many of the same features, however, the user interface leaves a bit to be desired. Overall, we chose Employee Navigator for the employee experience and ease of …
Chose Employee Navigator
Most of the systems I've used for HRIS systems have been part of the payroll system. What stands out with Employee Navigator is the ability to key your benefit changes into one place, and all vendors are notified of the updates -- no more logging on to three or more sites to …
Chose Employee Navigator
Employee Navigator allows us to customize the users experience and build in options that fit our business/clients needs
Chose Employee Navigator
We eventually moved to a full HRIS solution with UltiPro. EN does the benefits and ACA portions of HR better but it is priceless to have an integrated and full solution.

Guru is very well suited for storing lots of product information. It's very easy to tag and organize your Guru cards which makes it easy sort through later. You can also assign certain people the responsibility of making sure their team's Guru cards are up to date which also keeps everything clean, organized, and updated.

Employee Navigator is well suited to introduce the beginning of an HRIS to the organisation. There are excellent features for management to keep track of employee numbers and assets. Employee Navigator is not so well suited as an employee hub. I think the next step here would be to evolve into a directory service that users can use to look up their coworkers' strengths and other work-related attributes.

Usability
Guru was difficult to learn and navigate at first, but once you get the hang of it, it is very efficient and actually makes day-to-day work a lot easier

So far, we have had very little reason to call in to Employee Navigator support. Our team who works with them have found it easy and simple to work with them when needed. They aren't able to work on much or divulge how the system works internally, nor what's on the roadmap, but it is still helpful to have timely confirmation.

Return on Investment
  • There was a steep learning curve for many in our team
  • We mainly use Chrome integration and sometimes the application fails to load
  • With thousands of Guru cards, searching up one specific card can sometimes be difficult as the query brings up so many results based on a key word

  • Very positive impact on the employees -- open enrollment is a breeze! No more paper, and the dependent information is already there, they just have to make updates.
  • From the employer side, you can print off the changes and key them into payroll -- everything is in one place, and so easy to use.
  • The CFO is happy with the no cost, and less downtime with people asking about benefits.
