Brand24 vs. Loomly

Brand24 is perfect for a company that wants to build up its social media presence. It's great to know when our organization is mentioned online so I can engage with other companies. I like the mobile app but if there was a way to be notified via phone with it that would make it even better.

These services that Loomly offers when integrating multiple social media platforms is invaluable. It makes this side of the business a breeze.

It's easy to use. I think that's one of the key selling points. I've used trials of other social media management platforms, and they've been more difficult to introduce to my clients, which drives a wedge. Loomly has been fairly easy to introduce my clients to, therefore optimising review timelines and ease.

I would start with Mention as opposed to beginning with Brand24. We originally used Mention but the price was increasing year-over-year so we wanted to try a cheaper alternative. We eventually did go back to Mention after Brand24, due to its ease of use and it was also easier to monitor our brand with Mention in the end.

I found Loomly, while more simple, to be the most worth the price. Especially because I specifically can view analytics on client accounts directly, there's no need for me to have it within my platform. However, I know this is crucial for a lot of people. If they're looking for that, I'd probably say another platform might be better. But for me, Loomly is perfect!
