BrightLocal offers custom enterprise plans for businesses with more than 50 locations.
Thryv reached out to me about 3 weeks before signing up with BrightLocal. While all of their features were impressive, there were only about 3 features that I would have used. Thryv wanted $200 per month for their service, which I found to be way overpriced for what I was …
The price was cheaper at BrightLocal, although I have had to pay extra for things, but I like the flexibility that an al cart type program brings. I would say that Synup is easier to use and much simpler. Yext is more expensive and requires constant enrollment, but maybe the …
If you are a smaller business not looking to spend much this is the perfect solution for you. However, if you are a larger company running SEO campaigns for clients with multiple locations I would recommend a higher-end program. BrightLocal does not offer on-page ideas or many …
We used to use RavenTools but left several years ago as we needed a software platform more geared towards Local SEO, which is exactly what BrightLocal specializes in. Both of these have multiple features and great reporting options, but in the end, BrightLocal offered more …
BrightLocal was the best value I found for local SEO research and reporting features at a price that worked for a startup agency. The features are surprisingly robust for the price point, and I was able to service multiple clients from my account.
I like both of these SEO tools. Working in agency it was nice because I had access to both. At the current company I work at I use spyfu because our focus is on key words more than local SEO. I would be happy to try out BrightLocal again in the future sometime though
We have used Yext in the past for our clients. The biggest reason why BrightLocal is better than Yext is that you don't lose the citations after you cancel. The client is purchasing the citations for life. With Yext, when you cancel, your citations all revert to the old, …
BrightLocal's local ranking reports are the best ones out there. For everything else, they're just "similar" to the others and don't stand out from them. BrightLocal's online client report dashboards are also nice and not matched by the competition.
Brightlocal is a well established company with a good reputation and after using them for over 15 locations I can safely say it was an easy and safe investment for my marketing efforts. Compared to other alternatives Brightlocal gives you the flexibility to spend on specific …
Yoast is different from other SEO tools because it's the most simple, user-friendly tool and its built straight into WordPress. It belongs there! You don't have to do any copy/pasting or using any other third-party tools. You just draft your content, and Yoast gives you all the …
Yoast WordPress SEO Plugins is better than some other apps only because it is integrated into your WordPress. You have everything inside your dashboard. Sure, there are some other more powerful SEO tools, but Yoast is right where you need it. The best way is to use it alongside …
Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins was a little easier to understand and offered a real-time guided plugin that helped me write throughout my drafting process. Semrush was much more helpful as a reporting tool, not so much in content creation. Both tools are useful in different ways, …
We've looked at All in One SEO as a replacement to Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins. The paid version offers many of the same features as the premium version of Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins, however our writers and editors insisted on Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins. Yoast Wordpress SEO …
Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins is the best plugin that is available for Wordpress and it is preferable because of its multi-dimensional uses to ensure better rank of your contents in the search engine. Which will actually bring you a huge amount of traffic for your website. That's …
The only other plugin I've used that's similar is the all-in-one SEO pack, but it wasn't visible in the options above. Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugin is different from Moz because it's on your website and will actually make edits to your website, whereas Moz contains external tools …
Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins are very easy to get started. Its suggestion for focus keywords and readability score based on the content helps us to quickly publish search engine-friendly web pages. Unlike other popular SEO products, Yoast plugins are integrated into WordPress …
Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins cannot be compared to the rest. It contains utilities that none of the other plugins in the aggregate have. I probably tried everything that is under WordPress, and yet Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins turned out to be the best. A few years ago, he …
Yoast doesn't even compare to these other products. I would spend more time learning about SEO and doing everything yourself rather than trusting Yoast to do it for you. I chose Yoast only because of the off-platform websites we have and the clients wanted to understand the …
Yoast has the large user base and the support is great. Learning Yoast is easy for those who are beginners in search engine optimization. Squirrly is very expensive and apt for medium size businesses. It has limits almost in all the features. Page-level SEO is great in Yoast. …
It does not appear to be on the list, but the one SEO plugin that we have tested against Yoast is All In One SEO Pack. After comparing the two we decided on Yoast as we felt that overall it just did a better job. If we didn't have Yoast that would be our second choice. In …
Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins is popular, has excellent reviews. It is easy to use and has video tutorials for beginners, it is also not very expensive, and many of the plugins are free to use. It is well known in the industry and more suitable for the purpose we needed in our …
Yoast's free tools compete, with the affordability of the premium plugin making it an even better deal. We briefly used SEMRush due to a partnership with a local SEO firm at my previous position, and while it was also fantastic service, I found that it was significantly more …
We used the All In One SEO WordPress plugin for years on multiple websites. Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins is superior both in terms of easy configuration and use. The feature set is also advanced. The most noticeable improvement is the built-in Yoast SEO Analysis ranking system, …
I've looked at a few other SEO plugins, such as the Premium SEO Pack, WP Meta, and All in One SEO Pack, but I haven't found anything that has the same set of tools and simplified interface. The ease of use and out-of-the-box tools are what have me committed to using Yoast.
There are certainly other useful SEO plugins but it's rare to find one that's also free and this fully featured. Yoast is one of the top 5 WordPress plugins on the market, so you know that it's well supported and that it has staying power, which are important considerations for …
All in One SEO Pack is a direct Yoast WordPress SEO competitor, but it lacks the functionality and support the latter has. While they both do a good job of making sure your WordPress website is SEO optimized, Yoast goes one step further and does a really nice analysis of your …
Yoast is unique in the sense that it makes implementing SEO recommendations that we pull from the other comparable tools a real breeze! It's simple to use and saves hours that would ordinarily be used for training and can be used for the implementation of recommendations. No …
An affordable (free if you don't want or need the premium version) alternative to some of the other options! If you're running a simple site with minimal plugins that may cause conflict, then I feel Yoast SEO plugins are very beneficial. Their website has a lot of good articles …
Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins is the simple solution that most small businesses are looking for. It gives you quick easy tips that can be followed according to best practices. If you're looking to increase your SEO investment, you can pay for bigger tools like SEMRush that give …
I recently broke away from corporation gyms and decided to start my own personal training business in Plano, TX. Looking to expand my visibility in order to bring in new clients, I signed up for BrightLocal after taking a Udemy class on optimizing my Google Business Page. I have not even had BrightLocal for a week and I have already seen a tripling increase in views on my Google Business Page and an increase in the number of people who have reached out to me. I signed up for the citation builder campaign and the campaign isn't even finished. BrightLocal also set me up with a customer service executive named Becki who was absolutely lovely! She gave me lots of things to think about and action steps to take to further expand the reach of my business. I haven't even been with BrightLocal for a month and I'm already so grateful for them! I highly recommend them and their services to help you grow your business!
For quick WordPress installations and configurations, Yoast is fast to set up and helps guide you through the common configuration options. It tries to be helpful whether you are coming at things from a technical or non-technical background. The emphasis on white hat SEO topics like improved content, keywords, descriptions, and titles is really appreciated by someone like me who doesn't utilize gray and black hat SEO tactics.
If you are an SEO expert, and you want finite control of each individual aspect of your site, Yoast, like most plugins, engines, tools, etc, hides a lot from you or gives you limited options. It really is meant for someone who wants to apply a general strategy to a whole site. That being said, you can manage Yoast per page on a WordPress site, but even then, I know some SEO experts prefer other tools that are meant for very specific purposes.
Overall, Yoast is the best plugin for SEO in WordPress when applied as a whole.
When we use BrightLocal's citation building service, I know that we're getting quality citations done right. Their staff will email you with any questions and always double check the information before creating inaccurate citations.
I love that BrightLocal is very quick about making changes when requested. For example, if we can't find a city on the drop-down list, you can chat them and they'll add it. Or if a report is pulling incorrectly, they'll re-run it within a reasonable timeframe.
BrightLocal has a lot of different reports that are easy to send to your clients. You can even add them to a web-viewable dashboard so that your client can simply bookmark a link and view their reports when they please.
BrightLocal can very difficult to communicate with, especially when it comes to reporting bugs / defects, and also when it comes to finding out whether they are working on those bugs.
BrightLocal's reports, other then the ranking reports, have far too many bugs and they seem to either have little QA or poor QA practices, considering how many defects there are.
Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugin is really good at copy and link scanning and optimizing, however, I have not been able to find any assistance on image optimization on our pages and posts. That would be a good update!
Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugin is good at ranking pages and posts individually. I would like to see an overall dashboard of your entire website/blog's SEO health according to the software.
It's super easy to use. Really, it requires little-to-know tutorials or walkthroughs at all — it explains everything you need to know in the description and tooltips built straight into the tool. I've never had to google a how-to or tutorial to use Yoast — it just works, and it works well
Although their customer support has always contacted me, they have not always been helpful. Many times I've had reports or information disappear with them telling me they had no record of it, even when I had reports that the information was in there. There are times when their system did have bugs and the support was able to help me there. Overall, the support staff is there but they cannot always do much and need to wait for their development team to get back to them which often takes a long time.
I gave it a 4 just because it is helpful if you are just getting started with SEO, it guides you and shows you what you need to do in order for your website to be up and running properly. As a seasoned SEO analyst I wouldn't recommend it just because I can do things better my way.
We used to use RavenTools but left several years ago as we needed a software platform more geared towards Local SEO, which is exactly what BrightLocal specializes in. Both of these have multiple features and great reporting options, but in the end, BrightLocal offered more features for Local SEO and also offered better reporting for clients as the reports were very easy to read and understand.
Yoast Wordpress SEO Plugins was a little easier to understand and offered a real-time guided plugin that helped me write throughout my drafting process. Semrush was much more helpful as a reporting tool, not so much in content creation. Both tools are useful in different ways, it is just a matter of knowing each one's strengths and weaknesses.
Findability: I love few things more than hearing, "I just found you on Google!" and knowing that they found us on Google because our SEO is on point.
Using the Yoast SEO Plugin over time has taught me to create better, more optimized content from the start, rather than having to edit that content after I realize it's not very SEO friendly. This saves a lot of time and lets me put my energy into other things.
The plugin has helped us make our sometimes-dense content more readable and sharable, which absolutely improves stakeholder engagement.
