CallRail seemed to have an easier setup and ease of use for onboarding new staff as well. The overall tracking structure and analytics seemed better with CallRail. CallRail also allows you to understand the call history and understand if this was a first touch or multiple …
Convirza is very similar in its functioning with CallRail but the quality CallRail provides is unmatchable. The customer service of Convirza was really bad and we found that quite hard software but on the other hand, CallRail is a very straightforward tool for call tracking.
CallRail has offered us the best solutions so far in terms of multiple aspects. #1 is scalability, we are a growing agency, we see clients come and go, CallRail has made it easy and efficient with new accounts being onboarded, UI backs up this process. Also, the multiple …
We also use Fix Your Funnel. It is specifically for integration with Keap (formerly InfusionSoft). Also a FABULOUS piece of software. It is just as robust as CallRail but has some unique features. I highly recommend calling them for a walk through if you use Keap.
We heard about CallRail from an associate of ours and never needed to look for a replacement. We absolutely love it’s features, ease of use and implementation of this program. We recommend this program to many of our clients who are looking for call recording or have the need …
We've found CallRail to be easier to use than other systems that we've used or reviewed for potential purchase. Product support is good and there is a fair amount of users so finding solutions to problems online is relatively easy. Our team has found it easy to setup as well.
Google AdWords does have tracking numbers but you can't listen to the calls and you can't integrate them in the code of your website. It's super helpful to have multi-touch tracking with cookies, so if someone hits a site via AdWords first and then comes back later via direct …
Twilio offers a much more robust business phone and SMS solution that also offers call tracking. For just the call tracking, which is what we needed, CallRail was perfect. We didn't need the additional features that Twilio offered.
CallRail does not have a lot of good competitors. In addition to that, the CallRail team is always looking for ways to add more functionality and make the product work better which is great as not all companies do this. I think that this make them a much better overall value as …
I have used Marchex and Navis in the past, and those platforms aren't as functional, or as easy to use as CallRail. Setting up new numbers takes about 1 minute, and the amount of tracking options and placement capabilities makes it the easiest call tracking platform I've ever …
We have utilized Google call tracking within AdWords before, but considering it is a Google product, it can sometimes be biased. Having that third party vendor elevates that. Google Call tracking is only limited to running AdWords campaigns, so if we need to use a phone number …
CallRail have been more accommodating, helpful, organised and understanding of our business requirements than our two previous call tracking providers in the UK. Combine with the massive cost saving and self-service abilities we have from the back end of CallRail, switching …
Seems like it is basically the same as PhoneWagon. Phone wagon is slightly cheaper but has a FEW less features. The one that makes a difference for me is the Bing Ads integration that Callrail offers but not Phonewagon.
I've used Marchex and a few other homegrown solutions, and a handful of other small companies that I can't seem to remember (too many years ago) their names. None of them really stood out to me as being a great solution. I haven't used Marchex in a few years, but overall they …
We haven't used any other type of system that is equivalent to CallRail. For some of our campaigns, we utilize CallSource, but CallSource falls flat in the keyword and landing page data. We are only able to get call recordings from them, and while that is useful, we can't …
Callrail has a very seamless and easy to use Dynamic Number Swap function. In other call tracking that we looked into the integration was either not as easy to use or required much more work to implement. Setting up CallRail has been so easy even our entry-level employees need …
Gong's task manager is slightly quicker than Salesloft, with fewer steps to go from one action to the next. Having all the calls and emails under one page is nice, and the ability to organize how you want to action streamlines the process. Having Gong.io readily available is …
The only similar software I've used is Chorus by Zoominfo. I don't find Zoominfo to be particularly helpful other than for up to date contact info, so having these functions tied to gether is not so important to me, and the actual functionality of Chorus is nowhere near as …
Just way more depth of detail. It seems more purpose suited for our particular use case (sales and pre-sales), while the others were more suited for general note taking
Gong is more like a personal assistant and provides helpful insights that zoom doesn't. zoom is more for the call recording and and presentation on the call.
Gong is way more robust than other tools I've used at other companies, and the UI is infinitely easier. I didn't have a hand in bringing Gong to my current company so unsure if there was a previous tool it replaced.
I love how Gong combines call recordings and outreach as a tool as it is easier to see previous activity before contacting the prospect or client. The general user experience is much better than Allego and Jiminny. I would say as a pure prospecting tool, I liked the usage and …
I've used Chorus at a past company. It seems to do the transcriptions similarly accurately to Gong. Good enough call recording. The call feedback can be done too although maybe not as easily. I do not believe Chorus can create call playlists. I do feel there are a lot less …
Gong stacks all that platforms because use the best of AI to give you a lot of amazing insights of your past calls and helps you to write FUP e-mails and other stuff that consumes a lot of time from a salesperson. Gong will help you to find your best version as a salesperson …
I was not involved in the selection of Gong, and honestly before I got it, I couldnt have envisioned how helpful it wouldve been for my needs as a customer success manager. It saves me time and gives me confidence in calls I am capturing all informaiton
This is great software for differentiating where phone traffic is coming from. Whether it's paid/organic search, you can see exactly where the calls are coming in from. I'd love to see them add text/SMS features in the future, but it does what it claims. I'd also like to see more CRM integrations, but not sure that other users share the same sentiment
Gong is an excellent tool for tracking customer interactions with your team whether it be through e-mail or phone calls. It also provides an excellent format for scoring the calls your individual contributors are making. Researching interactions through artificial intelligence provides a ton of hours of time saved for our team. It is not a replacement for your CRM or source of truth
Reporting - We love the breakdown for attribution and sources for calls. CallRail makes reports easy to understand and lets you share them with clients.
Call Tracking - This may be obvious, but you get so many options with CallRail in terms of your number pool, recording options, picking your numbers, etc. It gives you the metrics you care about and they haven't experienced any calls mis-forwarding.
Support - With other companies, I've had to wait for days and days to hear back. With CallRail, they normally get back to us on our tickets fairly quickly and they have a great knowledge base for common questions too!
Sometimes the automatic tagging can be wrong, in terms of whether it's a lead or not, or what the call was about.
It's not an all-encompassing platform, and would be so much better if it weren't so isolated to its core functionality - would like to see some more integrations.
Setting up the phone numbers can be difficult for some people.
If you forgot to add Gong to your meeting, the Gong bot will take a while (a minute or so) to be added. This might lead to you losing some time for the meeting recording.
A quicker way to get the 'Share with customer' URL. I often have to go through a few clicks before getting it.
Gong is one of the best if not the best tools we have in or tech stack in terms of ROI and ease of use. The ai features that have been released over the past year have continued to add value and are not just shiny new features that don't get used. It is also an easy to use platform for our sales and customer success reps, takes very little time to become proficient in. The deal boards also provide great visibility into opps for management and leadership
The platform is easy to use and we really don't have any complaints with using it so far. The information is invaluable for clients that rely on phone calls to drive more business. Not much negative to say about it at this point. We're actually really happy with it so far and the cost is manageable.
I gave it a 9 here because Gong is well-suited for being a one-stop-shop for call listening as a while. The reason I didn't rate it a 10 is the UI can sometimes be a bit tough to navigate and figure out where to do certain actions.
Fortunately, we had a lot of experience with CallRail. That in itself is an indicator that it has just worked for us, and done what the product is supposed to. We've never once wondered if the data was tracking accurately. This is unfortunately less common these days it seems, but we're happy with CallRail as a whole in our organization
I give them a 10 because, I have been using Gong for over a year now and have never had issues or concerns go un resolved in a day or two. Their communication is impeccable and their tech support is very hands on and prompt
We have utilized Google call tracking within AdWords before, but considering it is a Google product, it can sometimes be biased. Having that third party vendor elevates that. Google Call tracking is only limited to running AdWords campaigns, so if we need to use a phone number in any other fashion within our business, it couldn't be used.
Gong has by far the most comprehensive information about each call, and integrates the best with our CRM: Salesforce. Not only that, but the call recording itself is the least intrusive, and it is automatically added to every external call that our team creates.
Historically, I used CallRail for hundreds of Clients and it allowed us to track more than 50% of conversions that came from a website for service style businesses. It's actually extremely eye opening to see how much comes in for phone calls for some types of services. With SaaS it's interesting to see how reliant on a human conversation people can be in order to make a decision about something so intangible.
I've improved my ability to find solutions for my clients. I'm now more effective in meetings because I can pay closer attention while the entire conversation is automatically recorded and transformed into text.
I can process a large number of emails without feeling overwhelmed by the vast amount of information I receive daily. With the summaries created with Gong, I can now make faster and more effective decisions without hesitation.
It doesn't take much effort to learn how to use this platform; this saves me a lot of time when training new members of my team to use this indispensable tool in the workplace.
