Mitratech TalentReef is a recruitment and talent management system optimized for service-sector workforces. It emphasizes its support for regulatory compliance, automated workflows, and mobile accessibility across its functions for recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management.
No comparison. It's apples to oranges when comparing. Clear Company is well-rounded and willing to collaborate to make it right for each company. Most other platforms make you adapt to the product they think is best without individual company needs in mind.
Communication is much easier in ClearCompany; processes are less cumbersome and making changes in the system is much easier. It's great for organizations that need to be nimble or may be evolving in their Talent Acquisition processes.
We selected Clear because it is comprehensive. It also allows for video screenings in the application process and that feature saves us time during the interview process. Companies like HigherMe don't provide that. We also utilize Jolt for checklists. Clear unfortunately …
ClearCompany is the most straightforward product I have used. Every other ATS has had too many bells and whistles that show on your website and aren't used. Many are really difficult to navigate or don't have offer letter creation or interview scheduling capabilities.
At first, I liked Jazz better. I thought the interface was easier and looked better. However, after using ClearCompany for a few months, and a few updates later, I think ClearCompany is the better of the two choices. The applicant grading in ClearCompany is much better, has …
We switched from Hireology to ClearCompany, mainly for the price point. We also felt that CC could offer a bit more of a custom ATS. There are moments, though, where our management team feels that they received more applicants with Hireology than ClearCompany. I think part of …
ClearCompany has a lot of fresh ideas and functionality, but the system doesn't compare to any of the previous ATS systems I have used, and this is based on basic user interfaces and ease of use. ClearCompany doesn't have options set in place to keep companies compliant, and …
We went with ClearCompany based on their level of customer service. Paycom is who we use for our payroll and other HR tasks, but, the level of service and price was the reason we went with ClearCompany. They've been extremely attentive, have customized almost everything to fit …
HRM has been our provider for some time now. We've evaluated others recently to see what is comparable or more industry specific. Haven't decided to switch yet, but as we review products, that could change.
I have used other software in the past for employee management (PeopleMatter) and TalentReef was easy to train with my management staff, easy to use for application management, and had a low error rate. The ratings for applications and questionnaires are helpful when …
TalentReef has a better interface than SnagAJob, but that is just about it. SnagAJob did a very good job in applicant flow, however, they also advertise for other companies during the application process which is a major downside to their system.
We came from Info PeopleAnswers and used their ATS for years. Prior to going to talentReef, we looked at CareerBuilder's ATS and at Snagajob's ATS. At the time, neither had the integrated onboarding and exporting data components. I also like the feature of the posi-fit …
Ease of use, entering data is seamless and functionality is good and saves time. The online hiring paperwork simple for candidates to complete. Reports are easy to create and save. Value for the money is positive and on-boarding of the system was quick and thorough. We selected …
Our company has not used a similar program, but we did go through a lengthy process when choosing a vendor. TalentReef's product was more impressive than the others we looked at, but the TalentReef team was what made us choose to partner with them. Again, the culture is …
If your company needs to move into becoming completely electronic, as well as the option of having it being remote if needed, this is the way to go. ClearCompany will hold your hand and help you every step of the way to becoming just that! It can be a difficult task to change so much but having their team to meet with you weekly until you have everything up and running was the best experience I could have asked for.
I rarely give 10/10, mainly because I have learned that that we can always learn new things and to grow. Thus, I feel that same applies to Talent Reef. While I struggled a bit in the beginning to use this application, It is probably that struggle that has made me a better user for being so persistent at using it. Now that I have more than just the basics I think for any size company the functionality of the program will work for them.
Interview scheduling--ClearCompany integrates your Outlook calendar with their system, so when a candidate accepts an interview time, it goes right to Outlook.
Communication with hiring teams is super easy in this system. You just tag a hiring manager in the notes and communicate there regarding candidate progress. This is super helpful down the road as well if you need to look back at any communication (rather than trying to sift through emails).
The general setup is very user friendly. It is easy to find candidates, reqs, and information.
As an Administrator of the talentReef system, I have access to all applicants for every store across our system all in one location.
It is a one-stop function for virtually all of our new hire paperwork.
We have not gone entirely paperless with our employee files, but talentReef would be of great benefit to us if/when we choose to move in that direction.
The system is relatively easy to learn for store users with all levels of digital expertise.
The cost to the organization is extremely reasonable.
Reporting is a bit limited - most reports require significant cleanup and/or take a lot of work to make meaningful
Hiring Manager visibility is limited when it comes to notifications (scorecards completed, etc.) and feedback for candidates from other processes, meaning that the burden is put on TA to inform
Applicant flow is terrible. You can post jobs on Indeed for free, and receive a better applicant flow than posting through TalentReef. TalentReef was unable to provide any reasoning for this to happen
If you want to change/edit your onboarding documents, you need to e-mail them to support. This can sometimes take more than 48 hours to accomplish, and more often than not, was not done as requested
Customer Support is terrible. When they respond to you, they do not answer the question fully or provide any alternative solutions
Pricing is very high. There are numerous other alternatives in the market that provide better services for half the price
I had a great relationship with my first customer success manager. When I first started, she helped me navigate the system and was always available to answer any questions. They have provided great support throughout the last 2 years of me using the system. I attended a ClearCompany conference and they were incredible at providing support and showing how to best utilize the system,
We went with ClearCompany based on their level of customer service. Paycom is who we use for our payroll and other HR tasks, but, the level of service and price was the reason we went with ClearCompany. They've been extremely attentive, have customized almost everything to fit our needs, and have offered training and perks along the way. Paycom is great, but, it doesn't stack up to the level of customization, ease-of-use, or services that ClearCompany provides. I don't think we'll be making a change anytime soon
We came from Info PeopleAnswers and used their ATS for years. Prior to going to talentReef, we looked at CareerBuilder's ATS and at Snagajob's ATS. At the time, neither had the integrated onboarding and exporting data components. I also like the feature of the posi-fit questions.
The original ATS was costing us more than when we switched to Clear and it only posted to one major job site only allowing 30 requisitions per month. We have no limitation on job reqs, better tracking, and posting to all major job boards with integration to our payroll and website for less money.
Our initial ROI was having the ability for our applicants to apply online and move away from paper. This was a must, so we can compete for employees in our area.
Our next ROI was improving our onboarding process. The TalentReef onboarding process protects us from having incomplete files and it also saves us labor due to the process being quicker and efficient.
