Virima is a SaaS platform from Virima Technologies in Atlanta, that aims to solve the toughest IT Operations management and reporting challenges. With Virima’s automated Infrastructure Discovery, trustworthy CMDB, and Service Mapping visualizations, the vendor says IT staff will be ready to make informed decisions with fast-tracked insights.
It is well suited for environments with a large number of users (think MSPs) that need remote access, and quickly getting to a client site is either not an option, or will greatly increase delays in support. It also works well to monitor client devices and make decisions based on the robust reporting offered (hardware, installed OS version, OS Patching, etc.). It is not very well suited for small environments or single businesses due to cost, and management required.
The Virima MSP provides a centrally controlled and protected environment for consultancy and infrastructure as a service to deliver Virima functionalities to their clientele. ScreenConnect and RMM are two totally different platforms We did not try any other competitive RMM software out their because of the history of using ConnectWise's software. We have never have had any issues with their software so we started using RMM right out of the box and never have had a reason to switch.
Accessing and Managing Virima is easy. Great support team very responsive,but i would like to have more visibility into the product management space. Nevertheless its a considerable tool that does what it was deployed to do.
