ContentSquare [(Clicktale)] is going deeper on UX understanding than traditional web analytics tools. You can truly understand how a page is used (where users click or even miss click, on which part of the page they are spending most of their time, if some links are clicked but …
ClickTale is now a step ahead of the competition since it delivers insights based on pre-defined business KPIs and customer journeys that we have set up. We can also segment our traffic and easily sift through the many recordings finding the ones that match our lookup criteria. …
The only other website analytical tool I have used is Google Analytics. They both have some overlap but Google Analytics is much more broad, while ClickTale focuses on what it does and provides tools and analysis to work within its area of expertise. When used together, more …
We used CrazyEgg prior to ClickTale. CrazyEgg is simpler to use and much less expensive, but you get what you pay for. ClickTale gives us more capabilities that we desired. If you are a small start up with few people dedicated to the web, go with CrazyEgg. If you are a larger …
Google in-page analytics- while it does many of the things Clicktale does and for free, it lacks the full featured offering that Clicktale provides. Mouse Recordings alone are worth it. They allow our new designers to watch and learn from real customers, then create solutions …
GoSquared suited us much better than the two alternatives that we evaluated. We were already an Intercom user but GoSqured suited our requirements much better. The look and feel of the product is a subjective topic but I personally felt that GS does a better job here. Also, I …
GoSquared acts as an end-to-end tool taking care of most of the needs of the organizations unlike most of the competitors. Even while covering a vast scenario, GoSquared handles all the tasks pretty well.
GoSquared is easier and more intuitive to use, also less advanced but it offers enough functionality for most websites. It can be used in conjunction with more advanced tools.
I use GoSquared in tandem with Google Analytics on my site since I don't need an all-in-one marketing software for this site. I love the clean, easy-to-read reports that I receive from GoSquared on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. The graphs are easy to interpret and it pulls the …
For realtime analytics, GoSquare is my go to pick since it does it really well and is very simple to use. The dashboard is also really great to show the team analytics of our website at a glance.
Google Analytics is massively bloated and can be difficult to configure, navigate and understand. While GoSquared doesn't provide the feature set that Google Analytics does it focuses on providing the best experience for the features it does offer. If you just want to know who …

I have evaluated other products but as GoSquared is presenting Live Data this really is most useful, I don't have much of a requirement to see what a potential customer did yesterday. I need to know what my potential customer sitting on the website right now is looking to …
As I said previously, I rather pay for a superb product than use a good free product. I think GoSquared beats Google Analytics on user-friendliness, usability, and UX. The team seems to not stand still and is always innovating, which I value, too.
For simplicity & real-time data, GoSquared beats Google Analytics easily. However, for more complex analytics requirements, GoSquared simply doesn't support the vast array of reporting abilities which Google Analytics affords.
I have used several analytics packages, including Clicky, Piwik and of course, Google Analytics. At the time when I used GoSquared, it had some unique features, but now the others have closed the gap in functionality, especially in allowing users to create widget based …

It is well suited to businesses with a full time web analyst that will be using the tools to create actionable reports that drive action in the company. It is less appropriate where companies are just looking for some new tools and it will be forgotten soon after implementation. If a website is critical to your business and you have dedicated resources or consultants to help you understand the data, then it is invaluable. I love it.
It works best for real time customer relations and monitoring. For historic data use it with another tool. Other than that it is an amazingly easy to use, and to set up tool. Once you start using it, you will never go back.
The qualitative aspects of user experience are very well captured by ClickTale. We can get solid actionable insights through the various dashboards which track mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, etc.
The visual conversion funnels give a very good high level view of landing page performance and how they work together.
The video recordings are especially helpful. The user behavior captured is especially helpful in making decisions about user interface - form fields, call to actions, etc.
Support - These guys are super quick at getting back to you when you need help and always friendly
Live stats - GoSquared is addictive, it offers detailed information about visitors to your pages in realtime, you'll be watching the dashboard for hours!
Ease of use - From the guided setup to the usability of the dashboard GoSquared is really straightforward
For small companies with limited user testing budgets, ClickTale serves as a useful user testing tool. When I cannot get the funds for in depth user testing, I always know that I have a baseline of information I can rely on
Not only does the GoSquared application work well, the GoSquared team is constantly making improvements. When I first started using GoSquared, they only offered daily reporting -- now they offer the weekly and monthly feature per popular request. I like that they are always updating the look and feel of the website and emails they send to maintain a modern look. GoSquared is easy to implement and easy to use!
ContentSquare [(Clicktale)] is going deeper on UX understanding than traditional web analytics tools. You can truly understand how a page is used (where users click or even miss click, on which part of the page they are spending most of their time, if some links are clicked but bad positioned on the page...), and that's a thing you can't really measure trough a traditional web analytics tool.
GoSquared suited us much better than the two alternatives that we evaluated. We were already an Intercom user but GoSqured suited our requirements much better. The look and feel of the product is a subjective topic but I personally felt that GS does a better job here. Also, I will recommend any potential customer of GS to check out Mixpanel as well, they have a very competent product and you can't go wrong with either of the options.
I learned how effective some of our image carousels were. How only 10% of a page visitors were being exposed to only the first slide. People were scrolling down or leaving the page without ever being exposed to 90% of the content. Once I provided this input to stakeholders it was an easy sell to redesign this aspect of the page.
I used the mouse-move heat map to analyze user interaction with the footer. Showing stakeholders the before and after redesign heat maps did wonders for improving my credibility as an usability analyst.
We used Clicktale to help analyze our 404 error page effectiveness. Our redesign gave us a 14% lower bounce rate on our redesigned 404 error page. Stakeholders appreciated a quantitative measure to gauge the success of that project.
GoSquared helps us to react quickly to high volumes of traffic, and allows us to identify very quickly how engaging our content is
Using browser specs helps us to ensure our websites are compatible with as many of our customers as possible, rather than relying on generic global stats
