What is GoSquared?

GoSquared provides real-time website analytics to sites of all sizes. The real-time dashboard displays website analytics on an individual visitor basis. The Now App displays concurrent analysis (the visitors who are on your site right now) of your site performance. The Trends App displays historical, trends and comparison analysis on real-time data. You don't have to wait 4 - 24 hours in order to compare todays current performance against last years. The Ecommerce App displays the same freshness of data and allows the user to easily filter products by transactions, revenue and quantity. GoSquared also features a RESTful API for developers to build their own analytics tools. It is the same API that powers GoSquared and there is additional data that isn't found in the dashboards.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

This is a great tool to organize your thoughts by getting the data effectively. The interface is quite user-friendly and even a layman using it for the first time can decode the way the tool has to be used to its full potential.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have been using GoSquared for three primary use cases across different functions, and we plan to onboard other mission-critical teams on the platform. At the moment, our use cases are pretty simple; 1) Web Analytics - for the marketing team 2) Email campaigns - for the sales and marketing teams 3) Replacement for Intercom - live chat - for sales and customer support teams.

Pros

We are a privacy-led data intelligence company hence every product that we use must be focused on privacy and that is where GoSquared shines, especially from a web analytics point of view.
GoSquared has basically helped us replace Intercom - we were paying for Intercom but we weren't really using it completely due to it being more or less a point solution.
It has also helped replaced Outreach.io for us as the email messaging is pretty much on point. Both our sales and marketing team use GoSquared along with Hubspot for marketing messaging.

Cons

There aren't really too many negatives but GoSquared's customer support definitely could make use of some more training. Not that we need to reach out to support too often.
Maybe a few more integrations with other platforms out there.
Reporting could definitely be improved, exporting it to Excel is a bit of an hassle.

Most Important Features

Real time web analytics, more importantly, access to daily email reports.
Ability to respond to clients quickly.
Integrations with Slack and Zapier.
Privacy led - it doesn't collect and personally identifiable information or PII.

Return on Investment

TAT for customer queries has come down drastically - we have been seeing higher conversions for trials since we implemented GS.
I end up spending a lot of my time on the GS platform - can't really mark it as a positive or a negative comment.
Our email marketing campaigns have been getting better responses ever since we moved to GS, although our messaging does have an impact on the response rate.

Pros

Provides real-time statistics and trends which is invaluable to representative to establish solid connections with our customers
Allows us to see current trends and product engagement. Also allows us to compare unique visitor counts with relevant dates.
You can go big as you need, and pay as you need with instantly upgradable and affordable plans.
Customizable dashboard is a great add-on for representatives to remove screen clutter and have clean information
You can always directly communicate with your customers by integrating another component to your site.

Cons

It would be better if it would have some kind of history, so we can dig further information.

Cons

They recently added e-commerce analytics. This is an amazing new feature, but requires a plan upgrade to use it.
Better filtering and exporting of past data.
