DonorDock in Fargo offers their eponymous CRM, a solution designed to help Nonprofits save time and raise more funds with a centralized system of record and fundraising toolset.
I recently started using EveryAction, it is much more robust and nimble and does not need a lot of customization. The only big feature I miss is the acknowledgment process for Luminate CRM and Analytics: it was much more robust, but overall it doesn't have the cumbersomeness of …
Of the databases I have used, Luminate CRM is my least favorite. However, it is powerful and large enough to function adequately for a large nonprofit; I couldn't say the same for some of Blackbaud's smaller products. We definitely need the full Luminate Suite (Luminate Online, …
I need email automation for easy communication. Unfortunately, Network for Good does not support this function. Additionally, the filter function on the report doesn't always provide the needed data.
I’ve looked at nearly every other tool on the market, and DonorDock is my favorite right now, especially for smaller nonprofits. It is better because it has focused on making day to day tasks easy. I know a lot of friends dread using their other CRMs, but I actually like using …
It works okay if you have a large budget and don't have the technical experience on your staff to set up NSPS appropriately. It probably also works better as a purely development-driven database; trying to track multiple departments with very different goals in the same database is challenging.
DonorDock's customer service team is excellent. From the initial contact with the sales team, through the onboarding process with the education team, to the data imports, everyone is very supportive, knowledgeable, and responsive. I couldn't be happier throughout the whole process. For example, when I was doing the data imports, Carolyn was very helpful. We had a virtual meeting, and she guided me through the steps. When I was importing the data on my own, some problems occurred, and she quickly identified the issue and helped me adjust my data for a successful import!
Support for the product is horrible; often support will have you bouncing between Blackbaud support and Salesforce support and it's very rare either are able to find simple solutions. Most of the time the solutions almost always cost money and hiring consultants which, for a smaller organization, means not being able to achieve proper solutions.

The only big feature I miss is the acknowledgment process for Luminate CRM and Analytics: it was much more robust, but overall it doesn't have the cumbersomeness of Luminate CRM. I don't think I would ever switch back.

Choosing a system is a big decision, and you want to make the right one. No software is perfect, but this is the best one I’ve personally seen: DonorDock is not only easier to use, but it also has great features to retain donors better, and it is much more affordable than the other options out there. Would definitely recommend getting a demo and checking it out for yourself. http://www.donordock.com/donordock-demo
