Compared to Whova, CrowdCompass offered me way more functionalities even if not all of them were useful for me at the beginning. It was offering me more flexibility and evolution possibilities which ended up being needed quickly. Compared to EventMobi, two factors helped me make …
The ability to integrate with CventFlex registration was amazing compared to the lack of that functionality with EventMobi. The product was intuitive for our attendees and looked sleek and professional. It was great to have the polling functionality within the app and have …
I used EventMobi 5 years ago so I'm not sure how it stacks up now, but CrowdCompass had more features back then, and having the ability to integrate with Cvent is such a plus for us.
There were 2 apps that got an "A" grade, CrowdCompass and Follow Me. CrowdCompass's finance model was more tolerable as a vendor fee than the revenue-share model for Follow Me. All of the others had significant deficiencies by comparison. At the time, CrowdCompass was one of …
CrowdCompass gamification is too static. MeetingPlay allows us to have multiple concurrent tracks with different questions assigned with defined time slots to defined attendees.
MeetingPlay allows us to checkbox an agenda item as that item is created to also appear in personal …
CrowdCompass is easy to use as it integrates seamlessly with Cvent, which provides a one-stop-shop from site selection to registration, and now to also have the app component onsite. I have found that it is much easier to use than other similar products, and is great that it …
We started using CrowdCompass before there were a lot of alternatives and/or competitors to select from, however I believe our choice would be the same to this day. Not only is Crowd Compass such a great tool in its own right, but it also works hand in hand with Cvent which …
To be perfectly honest, I felt that most of the companies out there offer very similar mobile apps, some might have 1 or 2 more features more than the others. To us we felt that CrowdCompass offered a tremendous value for both large and small scale apps, was user-friendly for …
CrowdCompass was the best part of Cvent each time I used it, from the ease of use to the customer service and handholding. I would recommend it for anyone using Cvent Event Management for an in-person event. I know Cvent just rolled out their virtual event hub though, so for virtual and hybrid events that are employing the Cvent family of tools, I would probably say CrowdCompass is unnecessary.
Ease of use for the planner. CrowdCompass is an app that allows our onsite event managers to quickly and easily make changes to the agenda times and locations or send push notifications/alerts to attendees.
Ease of use for the attendee. User error is minimal with CrowdCompass. Download instructions are simple and clear. The use of icons within the app makes for a simple user experience.
Customer support. Our CrowdCompass support team has been phenomenal! They're always able to assist with any questions or with helping us find new ways to make our experience even more positive.
Event apps are becoming consolidated into one platform app that contains events from all the clients who use it.
No branding of your own app with your own name and your attendees having to download a third-party app with events other than just yours available in it.
We have been using CrowdCompass for 3 years and it has all of the capabilities and functionality that we need, it's easy to use, and Cvent is always implementing new features and enhancements to keep up with the latest trends and technology.
From the build perspective, its very simple and intuitive. You can either go basic or dig in and provide some interesting features and functions to provide a well-rounded event app experience. From the user perspective, its easy to use and navigate the app, plus the ability to interact and engage is a huge bonus
Once we paid for our apps, I felt like I was left to learn on my own. There are plenty of Help articles available, but no training sessions. I'm a visual learner and having to poke around and use trial and error to build the apps took way too much valuable time away from other parts of my job. It was frustrating and I brought it up with my CrowdCompass contact, but was told that they don't provide any training sessions and if I had questions I should refer to the Help articles or call support.
Our training team walked us through the first set up which really helped me to learn where everything is located as well as all of the features available
CrowdCompass is the only mobile app that we have used or looked at. They are on the pricey side, but their integration with Cvent makes the cost worth it. With any other mobile app, we would have to either re-enter the event details or pay to have a custom API created
There are quite a few interesting option such as :- 1) easy to use on both ends (user and organizer. 2) Attendees are able to use one platform for everything onsite - viewing the agenda & presentations. 3) live polling, Q&A, and session evaluations etc. 4) Empower attendees & sponsors to connect, book appointments, chat and meet 1:1 or in groups, in-person or online with built-in video meetings.
It's had a positive impact financially because it integrates with Cvent.
It's a much quicker process to build and design, saving staff hours of work.
Unlike our old app system, we have more control over the content of this app. We can make our own edits and additions without depending on external people to make those for us.
We had an over 83% user adoption in the first year of use. Our exhibitors have reached a greater number of attendees and we've been able to engage students in ways that we haven't been able to in the past.
The mobile app, paired with a greatly scaled down version of the paper program have cut our program budget in half and we are able to provide much more timely and accurate information to attendees.
