Chose Cvent Event Diagramming
There are other CAD systems used by my employer. This brings more to the table with allowing us to seat attendees it is not only a CAD program, it seats attendees so we can see who has checked in and who has not. That is something the other CAD systems cant even touch.
It's accurate - everything else I used is merely a template. Without the accuracy it's all a guess, the accuracy has allowed me to maximize our spaces to fit a client's needs!
It has similar tools that MeetingMatrix has, but the Collaboration, or allowing vendors access is the feature that I appreciate the most that Cvent Event Diagraming offers that MeetingMatrix did not have. It is also easier to save as a PDF to print and email a version to …
I believe my organization has evaluated Eventbrite in the past. I'm not too familiar with Eventbrite and if it is similar to Cvent Event Diagramming. Overall, Cvent Event Diagramming seems rather advanced and a unique type of software. We have had such a great experience with …
It’s nice because we can use visuals with social tables and easily see our event in front of us. We selected this program because it is the easiest to use. Once you learn how to use it, you can really create a floor plan for any of your spaces and venues.
I have also used another event diagramming software in the past, Meeting Matrix. I believe that program just created simple diagrams that you could export and send to meeting planners. Cvent Social Tables has a much more robust functionality--more than just diagrams. The …
Cvent Social Tables is easier to use and has second to none customer service. Overall, we found that social tables provides a more lifelike, realistic depiction of the space, which is key when organizing massive show floors. It is also easier to show why certain booths are …
A2Z Floor Plan Developer is similar to Cvent Social Tables, but I think Social Tables is a bit more interactive. There are more options than just building a floor plan, you can actually assign sponsors, build the AV portion of the event, and color code the floor which is very …
I have used two other types of event diagramming software previously, including Optimum Settings ii and Meeting Matrix. Both were extremely dated, and the programs looked like they still lived in the late 1990s despite being used in the 2010s. OSGi was out of business and had …
I have not used other products like Cvent Social Tables. We used to make floorplans using PowerPoint. We would use the general outline of the room with circles and squares. Worked almost just as well as social tables, and it was easy for the client to make changes without …
Caterease is what our team uses, and while it's suitable for putting together menus, it lacks the broad logistics/calendars and timelines that I've seen with Cvent Social Tables.
I have never created a floor plan in Cvent Social Tables directly - is it even possible? I think a benefit for Cvent Social Tables would be to create badges via an attendee list, or is it possible, and I don't know about it?
In my opinion, Cvent Social Tables is the most user-friendly platform for building floor plans. They also partner with so many venues--that makes it helpful to use. The other platforms listed are more helpful if you are building something like a set from scratch, but take much …
Event Farm is the best solution for complex events with different attendee types, etc. they have amazing flexibility for building out your dream event registration solution. RSVPify is great for the registrant experience. It’s not as well branded out of the box but is a good …
I prefer Splash to Eventbrite because the UI is so much more beautiful. With Splash it's as if you hired a website designer to create a custom landing page for every event. It also has the ability to run virtual events with its integration with Zoom. Event brite's UI is just a …
I like Splash better than Marketo for registration pages because Marketo doesn't have all the same functionality. They do link to each other which helps but in Marketo we couldn't cap registrations and that for us is a must.
We appreciated Splash's robust platform and ability to customize to our unique needs. The platform has helped us scale our efforts both internally and within our global networks.
We chose to go with the Splash Event hub rather than the Eventbrite Community because of cost for …
We used to use Eventbrite to manage our events before we were switched into using Splash. It was much easier to use, had a consistent usability structure for creating events and getting users to sign up. While it wasn't as customizable in terms of the landing page or email …
SplashThat is something that Lyft uses exclusively across all markets. We do not have another comparable product. The reason behind this is to create and maintain brand consistency for all of our markets and Driver Communities.
The only other option we have internally is an internal CMS page creation that doesn't allow for any kind of creative freedom. SplashThat lets us use our imagination to create landing pages that fit our branding and event themes.
The only other event platform that I used was Eventbrite. The huge advantage of Splash was its design capabilities. Eventbrite gives a very generic invitation, whereas Splash is much more versatile design-wise.
Better than the others - didn't like eventbrite, my punchbowl, etc. Would rather stay with them and with something we know. Started with Splash because I knew them, they were affordable, they were responsive, and they seemed to have a strong passion for events and event …
Better looking invites than Marketo. We still prefer Eventbrite for our larger summits and conferences. Less heavy uplift and administrative tasks on Eventbrite. The UI is easier to use and the analytics and reports are better.
I was the person who was in charge of deciding on our event management technology tool for our entire company. Compared to the rest, SPLASH had the most creative capabilities as well as good pricing and made the most sense compared to everyone else. It was a clear winner …
I have not tried other integrated solutions for organizing corporate events, only spreadsheets, Google Docs and other adapted tools. Splash was subscribed to by the global team and presented to us as a possible, but not obligatory, solution. After a few months, everyone was …
Pardot is NOT for event marketers, I struggled to make the platform work for our event marketing needs. Eventbrite is OK for event marketers, but is pretty average. Splash strongly outweighs the two by streamlining an event marketers processes. Helps me track, manage, and …
It's the best software I've used. It allowed me to collaborate on a huge event with multiple stakeholders to ensure the main planner understood the venue and capacity issues. It's also allowed me to realize the scope of venue needs and abilities. Very helpful in visualizing a space
When we first started using Splash Event Marketing Platform, the platform showed great promise and worked well for our team’s needs. However, over the past year, we’ve encountered issue after issue—many of which are described by support as problems “no one else has ever experienced.” Unfortunately, this has happened frequently, making it difficult to trust the platform for consistent execution.
Scaling - I love that you can scale a layout in the program, and it tends to be pretty spot on. For example, we could have 20 different measurements for a street, once we type in a single measurement the rest auto fills (and is REALLY close to accurate).
Uploading - I love that you can upload images and mark all over them. Particularly, you can upload google earth images for outside festivals, and scale them accordingly.
Creating - In the program you can create a diagram based on the size of the room. For example, if you know you have a 40x80 tent, you can make a custom layout and build the whole thing.
Setup Templates - These templates make it easy for you to auto fill an entire room with rounds, rectangles or other formations without having to fill them all in individually.
Their support team is very friendly and helpful. They get back to me within a couple of hours and have lots of resources to help remotely.
I like being able to check people in on mobile.
Their templates make it easy to design something cool. I'm not a trained designer, but using Splash templates lets me create cool invitations that look very well designed.
A development that would be useful would be the ability to reorder the diagrams to a custom order in one event so that when exported as one document, they are in an order that can be customized to flow well for the meeting planner.
When designing a landing page for an event, the functionality of the layout page is quite finicky. I would love to see the ability to add features to certain text boxes become more fluid.
The formatting across the layout page is not always consistent, specifically text sizing.
I had an issue with an account, and the support team took an extremely long time (2+ months) to produce a remedy for the issue I was experiencing.
Because easy to interface and easy to manage Splash platform and individual event platform and easy to integrate with third party software such as Adobe Marketo and others softwares. Easy to maintain status and easy to relate with Salesforce campaign through Marketo . Useful in lead capturing and generation and so on we can enable business through splash.
Cvent Diagramming really does cover the bases for us. It's an easy to use program that anyone can figure out. It's got collaboration features so we can share with clients and they can make their own edits. Venues can send us there floorplans and send directly to us for edits. Overall: their templates, table numbering feature, measuring, scaling and shape/object tools make building floorplans easy
The platform works, and it is a good system. I think there is always room for improvement. and I would like to see them up their client resolutions when it comes to problems with using the system. and see them take a more aggressive approach to addressing the clients changing needs
The support was exceptional, and they remained an arm's reach away for when we ran into any questions after we began using the tool. Overall, we experienced phenomenal customer service. We also had more than one web-based call where their team would walk us through examples and answer any questions we had.
We love working with our account manager and priority support to answer questions efficiently and speedily. Our account manager works with us on larger and bigger picture initiatives for our instance, where the priority support is always there when you're stuck with a feature or setup, it's been great to share this resource with our global network of hosts internal and external to the company.
It has similar tools that MeetingMatrix has, but the Collaboration, or allowing vendors access is the feature that I appreciate the most that Cvent Event Diagraming offers that MeetingMatrix did not have. It is also easier to save as a PDF to print and email a version to vendors as well
We used to use Eventbrite to manage our events before we were switched into using Splash. It was much easier to use, had a consistent usability structure for creating events and getting users to sign up. While it wasn't as customizable in terms of the landing page or email design, it did the job without any issues. We didn't necessarily select to use Splash, but our event coordinators at Hubspot chose the platform for us! If we could go back, we would.
Has streamlined our registration and check-in process, saving us an hour+ on-site, plus ensuring a safer and more enjoyable experience for staff and attendees.
Has saved us up to $1,000+ for signature events when managing F&B budget items.
Positive: We've now been able to track whether people who attend our events eventually become donors to our organization, which is HUGE for measuring event ROI and the time horizons for a donation.
Negative: Can't think of any negative impacts on our business objectives. It solves the problem it is designed for, and continues to improve.
