Datto RMM vs. Mortgage Builder Software

Very well suited for MSPs, which is where we are being allowed to use it from. Quite cheap compared to some competitors, too. It's an all-around useful tool for managing your users and their machines for keeping things up to date, tracking specs, and troubleshooting.

Mortgage Builder offers a solid and stable group of products that will allow you to manage your customer pipeline end-to-end, with good support, at a lower price compared to the big boys in this arena. That said, you will have a less polished offering but they are moving in the right direction of updating many of their components.

• Their hardware was terrible. We had one product fail four times in 3 months, another fail twice in six months. Same client.
• The RMM is poorly coded, designed and implemented.
• Autotask was a decent integration until the integration failed and couldn't be resolved.

• Their web-based customer portal and customization is somewhat dated
• Their support is solid but seems to be over-burdened and slow at times
• Pricing components seem to be a work in progress

In my opinion, Datto RMM fails at almost everything you throw at it.

Our previous system was N-able RMM and while it was a good tool, the current version of Datto RMM has been better in most aspects. I personally have not used N-able in a few years and would not be able to go into too much detail about how they currently compare

• The developers are always trying to increase the value of the product, and it is making a difference.

• They offer a relatively quick turnaround on any customer or user issues that may arise with their support team so that the the process is not significantly delayed
• It allows for a wide variety of loan programs and scenarios to complete loans
