Satmetrix was survey-based customer experience management software. It contained summary and individual customer data for tracking the customer lifecycle. Satmetrix was acquired by NICE Systems in July 2017, and is no longer available.
We actually moved from DocuWare to Plate IQ because Plate is restaurant specific and shares many item codes, SKU #'s, etc from major vendors. However, we continue to use DocuWare for other data management because it was so useful to us while we used it for AP.
GetFeedback was implemented before Satmetrix. It was a cheap and cheerful product, even at the top tier of its license cost, tying it into Salesforce was incredibly easy. Just getting from survey to results in Salesforce was a pleasure. I really miss this world!
Medallia - Satmetrix does not compare. Where Satmetrix succeeded in elevating our multiple regional disjointed VOC into a single globally consistent program, Medallia further elevated it by facilitating a cultural change. Medallia's expertise and its platform's simplicity …
I haven't evaluated any other products. Our executive team selected NPS as the preferred measurement of customer sentiment and Satmetrix is the only certification company I am aware of.
We can use Docuware Cloud as a checks and balances program for our application processing in our data department. This is a time saver and allows us to access information at our multiple locations, as well as we have clients in various states. We can assign documents to others throughout the processing of applications, and this has allowed us to keep better track of our documentation with clients.
Satmetrix is best suited if you don't currently use Salesforce. A lot of its main selling points are negated by the virtue of having Salesforce. Case management is in Salesforce, reporting is in Salesforce, the structure that NPX imposes is actually clunky and unwieldy, and is much more streamlined on competing platforms such as GetFeedback and SurveyMonkey. The only thing that leaves is the consultative service on being best practice and I don't really get to see any of that.
Java compatibility, needs to work with newer versions. Prompts to use an older Java version in a browser can be annoying while creating reports and have to close them, then reopen with the right version.
Costs would play a big role in a potential renewal. Additionally, with the experience gained from the original project and education, I would feel comfortable running a program with a less costly vendor.
We use a third-party company to assist in the support process, and they have been great to work with. Quick turn around on issues and almost immediate communication concerning support tickets. They are more than willing to consult with our IT partners as well, which is a must for our business.
