I haven't used onedrive but it is a default on some of my devices. I prefer dropbox because it is integrated with a number of other platforms. When uploading documents, it will provide a link for easy sharing with colleagues and that is helpful. It also gives an option to …

Google Drive is hands down a better product and more versatile. I have a paid account and it is not expensive for a lot of storage. I don't think Dropbox can really compete, honestly. They just aren't as good and useable. I also think that Google has a lot more integrations. It …

I chose Dropbox Business because it is affordable, reliable, and easy to customize.
Additionally, it offers ample storage space for all our files.
Chose Dropbox Business
Dropbox Business stacks up well with most of the competition, but the pricing is on the high side, if it continues to increase then we would have to look for alternatives with the same or similar features.

I've used Office 365 in the past, along with some of Zoho's tools, and none of them have delivered the experience that I get from Google Workspace. Office 365 was slow and cumbersome when I evaluated it, and the interoperability of Google apps far surpasses that which I can get …
Chose Google Workspace
There are lots of things that Microsoft 365 does better than Workspace. The problem is that I am stuck in the Google world. It would take way too much time and energy to change platforms. There are lots of other options to choose from but none of them are perfect. Workspace is …
Chose Google Workspace
The tools are similar, however, in Excel and Sheets specifically, Microsoft is much more useful in transforming and manipulating a lot of data.
Chose Google Workspace
From an ease of use standpoint, Google Workspace is far simpler and easier to use. It offers what we need where Office offers too much of each app/service adding complexity over convenience. Our prior use of Office and even some occasional use of 365 just as a backup is often …

We previously used Zoho Suite free tier. Deliverability was good and their spam protection was almost as good as Google's. The one drawback to Zoho was the inability to host more than one domain. Zoho's paid tier is cheaper than Google's, but [I feel] you don't get the same …

Everywhere as aforementioned it is well suited ... The largest and most appropriate... A business can never ever have too many locations of its data stored. This option allows my company to have our data stored in one location and everyone works it in real time whereas the updates go in "Real time" no matter who is working that file. This is the most awesome trick of the entire program not to mention that I can see everything that Bobbiesue is working on out west at the same time pull another activity report to see if indeed Peggy logged in for work from home at 2p yesterday as she stated she did. Its a check and balance for small businesses such as ours that runs on the honor system for telework employees. At this time, there just is not any less appropriate!

Since our company is structured around Google Workspace at the moment, it is well suited for our entire workflow. I do have concerns though, for when it comes time for our company to have our own intranet built and how well the data migration will be from Google Workspace to that intranet that gets built.

Pros
  • It enables us to share documents and workflow to all employees for whom access is allowed regardless of where in the world they may be located.
  • Dropbox Business provides a means to safely store our documents without having to have physical copies.
  • Dropbox also allows for easy organization of our documents in folders and such in the system.

  • It's terrific to have a suite of products that is built to work together, rather than having to piece tools together.
  • The email and calendar are the tools I use most often together. I use Gmail through Apple Mail rather than in the browser, and it works great. Also really easy to access and use my calendar.
  • I use the other suite of features both for my own company internally and to share files with clients. Super easy to use and share.

Cons
  • I deeply dislike the navigation. I find it very clunky and hard and not intuitive. A few years ago Dropbox redesigned its navigation and I'm frequently at a loss to figure out where to access the option I need.
  • It should be quicker and easier to figure out how to send a file. I wish I could do that from the drop-down menu in my taskbar under the Dropbox logo.
  • I wish I had the option under the same drop-down menu in my taskbar under the Dropbox logo to go to where the files are on my laptop, which I find much easier to navigate.

  • A single Google Workspace user should be able to have more than one Google Voice phone number (ideally)
  • At times, Google Meet seems a little clumsy (but I think they're about to address that with the new release...It may or may not be better. Who knows? :))
  • Some screen layouts are a tad clumsy, but they are sufficiently malleable that once one gets the hang of it, one can customize the environment quite a bit.
  • A viable (for small business), relatively-inexpensive, virtual desktop that would include/could include a Windows license or, at least close-to-perfect emulation.
  • It would be great if there was accommodation for those who send out a great deal of mail in a given day. Not everyone who does that is a spammer. Although, by Google standards, and relative to some others, Google allows for sending out a good bit of mail, for those who do mass volumes and would prefer not to have their own mail server, it would be good if Google could find a way to accommodate them.

First, because it's very price reasonable and second because it fulfills the promise it makes. It is simple to use, the learning curve is not that steep and it's easier for the new hires to understand and start using the tool as soon as they are on-boarded. It doesn't just save time but also effort

There is no better solution for cloud storage and real time collaboration. The amount of features included in G Suite is unmatched and out of other things we’ve tried over the years, nothing comes close to being as great of a tool.

Usability
Well-designed, smart, packed with functionality without being overwhelming—Dropbox knows what they are doing and they do it well. They know what users want from the service and they make sure that all the normal use cases are intuitive and at your fingertips. I have never had a hard time finding things with Dropbox and I think their usability is excellent.

On the user end, it's great, probably some of the most user friendly products out there. On the admin side, it can get a little more arcane, but it's still better than a lot of other services. At worst I wrangle some CSVs to perform mass changes, but it's a far cry from the days of Powershell scripts or purely manual entry.

At least once a week the app crashes on my computer and causes files to stop syncing. It is an easy fix to re-open the app, however I have to notice the app stopped working to realize it needs to be reopened.

Performance
The Dropbox site and tools load in a reasonable amount of time. I don't feel like their site and app performance is any better or worse than any other paid product that I've seen offered by any other large company. Compared to a competing product like Google Drive, the performance is probably about the same.

I give it a nine because I haven't ever had to use the support or help. I would give it a ten but since I've never had to use them, I can't really give a full review of how their support works. I've talked to market research teams from Dropbox about new features, but have not had to get any assistance with a problem yet.

I have not had to use much support for G Suite, but I imagine it would be a great service, as is everything else that Google provides. I've searched for questions through the help center, and that was easy to use and easy to find. I'm sure I would have no complaints.

Implementation Rating
The implementation was actually very simple. Again, as stated previously, the most intriguing part of the entire exercise was the implementation of the directory structure for each account. Once you design and implement it for one, it becomes quite simple to replicate for each account you implement thereafter. You just really need to take time to ensure you implement the first perfectly and those that follow on will be likewise work efficiently and easily.

Dropbox Business is dependable, adaptable, and cost-effective for our businesses. On the inside, it’s comparable to other file-sharing and storage. Also, file access and navigation are much faster. We use it to share documents and store data and files for our business purposes. And I’ve never been convinced of other tools’ integrity or dependability. Dropbox Business has good connectivity and is smooth to use.

We selected Google Workspace for it's ease of use and clean UI. Microsoft Office granted does have a lot of features and may be more advanced in certain areas (Excel vs sheets), however for the range of functions we need, google workspace provided the necessary features for an affordable price. In particular Outlook compared to Gmail is more outdated and clunky, and I have found more issues with Outlook's deliverability in the past than I do with Gmail. Meet is also much more modern and clean, with useful features like record and Gemini that feel much cleaner than Teams. I have also found that inviting external users (ones that don't use the same workspace as you) is much easier through google meet than teams calls. Drive also has a much cleaner UI, and easier to adopt than OneDrive.

Scalability
We've used this when we were 2 users and when we were 20. It did not make any difference. Even when we've had to scale down and fire 10 employees, it was still easy to salvage all the material and keep it organized within Dropbox.
