Considered Both Products	Ensighten Abhijeet Karmase Senior Support Engineer in Information Technology at Safeway (Retail, 10,001+ employees) Chose Ensighten Manage We were asked to evaluate Ensighten against GTM and have determined that GTM does not provide the required features that we currently use with Ensighten. Specifically things like vanity URL redirects, tag sequencing, helper frameworks. GTM also does not provide as extensive … Incentivized Helpful? Giancarlo Morillo AdOps/Full-Stack Engineer in Engineering at Hearst (Media Production, 10,001+ employees) Chose Ensighten Manage I have only used adobe tag manager which lacked many of the features Ensighten has baked in. Incentivized Helpful? Patrick Legaspi Technical Analyst Sr in Information Technology at Fidelity Investments (Financial Services, 10,001+ employees) Chose Ensighten Manage Ensighten Manage has more tagging functionality, facilitating multiple tagging technologies, while Google Tag Manager (GTM) supports only Google Analytics. It has better security configuration, with custom role definitions that can define more detailed access characteristics. … Incentivized Helpful? Verified User Chose Ensighten Manage We were one of the early adopters of Ensighten and selected them since they had a really good UI and an easy way to implement tags back when TMS were relatively new. Incentivized Helpful? Verified User Chose Ensighten Manage Flexibility of entitlement Ease of use Improvement of page load times Incentivized Helpful? Verified User Chose Ensighten Manage We've used Ensighten Tag Management since 2013 - before this, we used Adobe's out of the box dynamic tagging solution. Since Ensighten is a purpose-built tool, it provides a great deal more flexibility than that of Adobe. Rule-drived spaces and conditions were not available in … Incentivized Helpful? Verified User Chose Ensighten Manage We did not compare to any other companies, Ensighten was bought without any due diligence being completed, which I raised as an issue when we first got Ensighten but it was too late at this point. Incentivized Helpful? Verified User Chose Ensighten Manage Tagman is the previous platform offered by ensighten. The updated version of their tooling has been a large step forward in flexibility and management of our tagging architecture. Incentivized Helpful? Verified User Chose Ensighten Manage Ensighten had more flexibility at the time of installation with all of our tags, and wasn't just for analytics Incentivized Helpful? Verified User Chose Ensighten Manage We chose (and have stayed) with Ensighten over their competitors because they are tag agnostic and offer great support every step of the way. While other tag managers may have strengths over Ensighten in a particular feature or tag type, Manage is a great overall solution that … Incentivized Helpful? Trisha White Manager, E-Commerce Site Operations in Marketing at Sterling Jewelers (Retail, 10,001+ employees) Chose Ensighten Manage Ensighten Manage offered more reporting options at the time. Incentivized Helpful? Tom Arundel Director, Program Management, Tagging & Performance in Marketing at Marriott International (Hospitality, 10,001+ employees) Chose Ensighten Manage Ensighten Manage has improved performance and data QA capabilities, preventing errors, page load time impact and less breakage. Incentivized Helpful? Verified User Chose Ensighten Manage Ensighten Manage has better enterprise level management, where you can manage deployments across multiple sites with ease. Ensighten Manage also has better customer service than TagMan had, and is less complex to implement than Tealium. Incentivized Helpful? Abraham Israel SR Manager of Analytics & Customer Intelligence in Marketing at Blinds.com (Retail, 201-500 employees) Chose Ensighten Manage Tealium seems like it has better support but is more costly. Incentivized Helpful? Verified User Chose Ensighten Manage Some how I feel Ensighten Manage needs to improve compared to Dynamic Tag Management by Adobe. Incentivized Helpful? Douglas Doble Director of Digital Marketing in Marketing at Prudential Financial (Financial Services, 1001-5000 employees) Chose Ensighten Manage It was an easy choice...more features, great support, market leader, easy & intuitive. Incentivized Helpful? Jeremy Lavitt Web optimization manager in Information Technology at B&H Photo Video (Retail, 1001-5000 employees) Chose Ensighten Manage The products are comparable. Each has strengths and weaknesses. At the end of the day their job is to fire tags and they both do that well. Incentivized Helpful? Verified User Chose Ensighten Manage We also evaluated Tealium. We decided to use Ensighten because of the higher level of code compatibility with Adobe and their consultants are very familiar with Adobe deployment. Incentivized Helpful? Michael Mgebroff Sr. Web Analyst Architect in Information Technology at Autodesk.com (Computer Software, 5001-10,000 employees) Chose Ensighten Manage I did not select Ensighten, some one else did ..... Helpful? Adam Waddington Product Owner in Product Management at Getty Images (Photography, 1001-5000 employees) Chose Ensighten Manage I have no means for comparison except to say that Manage 2.0 has many improvements from Manage 1.0. The UI improvements alone make it a good switch, and the ability to use the apps to templatize deployments is a great feature. Helpful? Pratiksha misra Web Analytics Associate in Information Technology at Cognizant Digital Marketing And Analytics Team (Information Technology and Services, 10,001+ employees) Chose Ensighten Manage Google Tag Management System Helpful?
