Chose Epic Cadence
Centricity was limited in ability to scale and customize compared to Cadence for our environment. Also the regular updates for Cadence vs. Centricity is where Cadence really shines. Vendor support is also much better with Cadence over Centricity. We also like the robust …
From an enterprise level I would put Cadence at the top of the pack. Compared to many smaller scheduling systems there are less pages to jump through. Scheduling is straightforward and much easier to accomplish.
I personally did not select the application, the organization have. Most of the time, I find out that healthcare facilities who have been using many of Epic's application invites or gets a request to be visited by other healthcare organizations thinking of getting the EMR …
Cadence is much better than some of the other either text based, or web based solutions out there. Cadence should be used as part of the complete Epic Enterprise package to enjoy the cost benefits of a fully integrated system that maintains the entire Patient Access flow within …
Our old legacy system was another vendor system interfaced to the current AD system. If was strictly a scheduling system, it did not pass information other than an account number to the ADT system for registration purposes so was very limited in what it could do beyond …
I have had experiance with allscripts in the past and I feel like Cadance is more advanceed and more accurate with capturing patient information and communicating the information back to Epic and our care teams. Cadance has helped us cutomize our Epic system so that we can tack …
RXNT offers better quality and more customization for the cost. Valant was very expensive regardless if you wanted a few features or the entire EHR. eClinical Works is easy to duplicate records but then it can take a while to update with current information. And their updated …
10 out of 10 for RXNT for how easy is is to use. The other systems don’t have the easy flow and functionality that RXNT has. The cost was also a reason we went with RXNT, there were no hidden fees they were transparent with everything and have so many different options that fit …
We've always been on the
lookout for the right software that meets our clients’ clinical needs but is
also robust on the medical billing side. Something that integrates well for
It is difficult to compare the two as we do not use RXNT for scheduling and billing; this is done using a different application. I do not know why. But as for note creating and editing, my preference is for RXNT, which is more intuitive and flexible for me compared with all the …
Cadence Enterprise Scheduling is well suited when an organization would like to have one EMR system. It is not appropriate when implementing only one application.
I believe it is best suited for organizations that wish to utilize all of the available tools within the system. I do not believe it is well suited for organizations that lack a deep understanding of the revenue cycle process or individuals who try to cut corners in managing accounts receivables. It works extraordinarily well in situations where one will take the time to set up all the available tools, test them, and make them part of their workflow.
The ads are very annoying and distracting. I would like to see these removed.
Sometimes when using the prescribing feature, the list of meds is unscrollable. This is likely a glitch that could be fixed.
Same thing after choosing a pharmacy. The preview page of Rx is unscrollable, making it impossible to see all of them. Would like to see this fixed as well.
Would like to be able to add more templates under the macros but it is not clear how to do this.
As stated earlier, it seems to be the best out there, from a built perspective as well as a user application. While some practices feel it to be time consuming (Cadence/Prelude) together others who see the whole integration thru the Epicare and Resolute systems love it. From an IT perspective, while sometimes cumbersome to build, the end results are pleasing and satisfying. We can usually accomplish what we set out to do with the practice vision in mind.
Having used other systems, there are still items I would like to see added to this platform. Additional forms, understanding of how to load those forms into the system. Ability for clients to access those forms. And the ability to upload forms that are coming in externally. This would be helpful.
EPIC has been great in their support and communication at all hours. They also openly communicate when an application TS (Technical Support) will be away and who is covering for that person. During standard non working hours - you always know what number and who to call to get resolution to issues that arise at those times
Use implementation team from EPIC but know what you want and make sure that it=s what you get. You can be easily swayed by lack of knowledge on the application and therefore decisions are made that are not correct and then have to be redone. EPIC including Cadence needs a great understanding of the workflows you currently have and how they will be impacted by your build. We had a great understanding of the existing workflows in the offices, however lack of knowledge on the Cadence IT side, had a large impact on what was delivered as our implementers believed that a standard EPIC workflow would suffice and did not.
From an enterprise level I would put Cadence at the top of the pack. Compared to many smaller scheduling systems there are less pages to jump through. Scheduling is straightforward and much easier to accomplish.
RXNT offers better quality and more customization for the cost. Valant was very expensive regardless if you wanted a few features or the entire EHR. eClinical Works is easy to duplicate records but then it can take a while to update with current information. And their updated version...you might need a magnifying glass especially if you are using on a laptop. I love the larger font and overall appeal of RXNT much better
