Chose Formstack Sign
Better functionality at a much more acceptable price. With Formstack, if we have issues (very rare) we can actually get a hold of someone - not so much with DocuSign.
Chose Formstack Sign
InsureSign intergrates with my customer management software. InsureSign has a better price. InsureSign has a better online system for the entire process.
Chose Formstack Sign
We initially chose InsureSign because of their specific focus on the insurance industry, which convinced us they would be most familiar with the types of documents we need signed.

Chose Zoho Sign
Before using Zoho Sign, we simply send out PDFs and had our partners and clients sign them and send them back. Obviously, Zoho Sign stacks pretty high against that because of how professional it is, how much simpler it is for us to use, and how much time it saves us.
Chose Zoho Sign
Docusign seems to be more commonly used and often times clients will ask if we can use that as opposed to Zoho Sign.
Chose Zoho Sign
I was a paid subscriber to Adobe prior to using Zoho, and found their solution expensive and inflexible. DocuSign may be the market leader, but Zoho fits better into our overall needs, especially since it integrates well with our other Zoho products.

Cons
  • While it's not a flaw specific to InsureSign I've found when multiple signatures are required using e-signing programs can prove more challenging particularly from the standpoint some clients (i.e. - husband & wife) may share one email account and these programs require a separate email account for each signer.
  • It would be useful to have an email prompt to the agent if a user hasn't signed within a specified time frame that enables the agent to send a personalized follow up message to the intended recipient.

  • It integrates from sign to the CRM (in that order) poorly. To have the doc associated with the contact it can ONLY come from the CRM.

Price is important but it has all the same features as some of the main brand names on the market which makes this package ideal for small businesses and larger ones looking at costs. The advantage we find is that we can edit forms with drop-down boxes and preset answers for the forms. Each entry field can be customized by data type and length or allow the client to enter their own answers.
