Marigold Engage+ (formerly Cheetah Messaging or CheetahMail) is an email marketing platform. It is optimized for delivering segmented email marketing campaigns with security in mind. It also integrates with any third-party CRM software.
We selected Triblio over Demandbase because of the pricing. Demandbase cost a lot more but the feature set from our point of view looked pretty similar.
The transparency in the build-out of engagement and intent is better than most competitors. The ability to alter scoring methodology is a primary reason as to why Triblio stood out as compared to those where we had to work with their scoring models out of the box and take as is.
As someone on the sales side, I don't know much about these tools' differences. However, I have had a very good experience with Triblio. It seems like it is more robust, and we can gain more information about our website visitors. I believe we picked them because of this reason.
Far better support, easier UI/UX, and much more strategy involved in our weekly discussions whereas Terminus largely integrated us and then left us to fend for ourselves.
Triblio is a much more robust platform in my opinion and also features a more robust ability to enable the sales team and get the data into their hands.
Honestly, Triblio has the same capabilities as all of the other platforms that I have explored. With their addition of Orchestration that is rolling out, they actually will be pulling ahead of the competition allowing for multi-step automated campaigns. With the ease of use, …
Terminus appears to be the cheapest on the surface but with the least amount of capabilities, clunky (lots of manual stuff they have to do on the back end to launch your campaign), very low CTR due to the DSP they use (TradeDesk) which also carries a media upcharge. Terminus …
Triblio stacked up very well against their competitors. The pricing is in the ballpark as other solutions, but their ability to cross platforms and expand beyond just one area of specialty is why we chose them. Other solutions may excel in one area, but Triblio performs well …
We chose Triblio because they allowed for the greatest customization and optimization of ads and because it was clear that they would deliver the best quality of control, guidance, and support for our ABM program.
We choose Triblio for [its] overall combination of tools and pricing. Prelytix has very good intent features, it is very easy to add and monitor keywords, and website activity. However, they have a lack of orchestration capabilities and integrations. The reporting is …
Moving to Triblio has been the best decision I ever made for the betterment of my company. I won’t deny the fact that Triblio also has some flaws but trust me they are so minor that can be easily fixed. I have had the experience of using other competitors or alternatives of …
Demandbase for just the base product was way more than I ended up paying for Triblio. If I were to level up Demandbase with all of the various add ons to bring it up to the functionality that Triblio provides it would cost a fortune.
We chose Triblio over other tools like Terminus, Demandbase, and Kwanzoo because of Triblio's focus on prospect engagement and delivering data to sales and the ability to orchestrate multi-channel campaigns. We felt that others tools were still more focused on the advertising …
Triblio is better than google (for advertising) and unbounce/HubSpot (for landing pages) because of how easily it automated the targeting and personalization process. Page automation happens automatically when contacts are enrolled in specific campaigns. Ad targeting also …

Terminus: Sales process was way easier, was not a fan of the AE we worked with at Terminus. Also, their platform itself didn't see as user friendly and intuitive. Since I was going to be the one primarily utilizing the platform, I needed something I knew I could easily learn.
CheetahMail is a much more mature product than Yesmail, though many problems exist with both email service providers. Though some data can be missing, there is so much more data available with CheetahMail than our previous email service providers. The web-based management …
I have one example of a service that compares to CheetahMail and was a far better service operationally and was more intuitive. This was the e-Dialog email service where segmentations were easier to build and the UI was far more straight forward and easy to understand. I would …
CheetahMail is very far behind these other providers. Specifically in Lyris we could build forms that automatically generated code connected to specific lists and be up and running in less than a few hours. With CheetahMail that would take days and developers at times.
Our employees are ESP agnostic and we try to support the ESP that our clients are using or want to migrate to. Typical ESPs in this tool chest are the Marketing Cloud (formerly known as ExactTarget), Silverpop, Adobe, and MailChimp for our smaller clients. In the last couple of …
To be honest, all ESPs at a core level offer the same features to manage an email program effectively. The true decision making then is based on what their specialty service(s) may be. ExactTarget is a wonderful UI and integrations across many channels, but it is quite …

We've evaluated 6 other email service providers and have come to the conclusion that CheetahMail is extremely lacking and consistently on the decline. They lack in innovation, in having the option to integrate data from other sources, in functionality when it comes to …

ABM Integrations
Comparison of ABM Integrations features of Product A and Product B
Triblio is a relatively new platform for us, and it's our first ABM orchestration platform, so feedback is with those caveats. So far, the platform is well suited to targeting & serving ad messaging far more efficiently than we could ever do on our own. Triblio does NOT provide contact information like some "ABM/X" platforms do. Be aware of that. We understand and are OK with it - but some people confuse what an ABM platform should provide, and if you are expecting to have access to specific contact to enrich your targeting - that's not part of what Triblio does.
Cheetah Messaging is great tool for marketers in order to manage different campaigns. Various aspects of the tool such as personalization, reporting & analytics, bulk user management, segmentation help the marketers a lot with their day to day work. Cheetah Messaging would be less appropriate for user having bulk databases.
They offer a best-in-class view of the customer email experience - through all levels of a customer journey.
Our account team has taken the time to dedicate to our brand and understand our goals and objectives. They tailor recommendations to what is best for our unique customer experience.
The CheetahMail platform is user-friendly and is continuously going through enhancements to improve the experience.
The ability to separate budgets by dept. currently, you have one pot of money but can set limits based on campaigns. This is fine for a single user but gets messy with multiple users.
Campaigns with multiple steps, I do hear this is in the works.
It would be nice if each area did not open a new tab, navigating pages within the same page would be nice.
The organization of CheetahMail could at times be better, as you create more and more mailings, they just pile up in a long list. It would be useful to be able to create folders to store specific mailings in. (ex. editorial, newsletters, marketing, etc.)
We continue to have a good experience with Triblio, and they continue to deliver value for our money. If they would do a better job with analytics, then it'd be easier for me to tie campaign activities to the bottom line.
As I have begun exploring competitors, I've come to realize that every competitor offers so much more functionality and integration than CheetahMail does. When we first signed our contract, CheetahMail was much more innovative and at the forefront of email. Since being bought out by Experian, we've seen a huge decline in service and innovation. They have laid off much of their staff and moved their account representatives to Costa Rica. They also heavily rely on on third parties which you will have to pay large amounts of money for while other Email Service Providers have integrated new technologies into their platform. You will get more for your money going to a different email service such as Responsys, Silverpop, Listrak and the like,
We have a cheaper version of Triblio, so we don't have all the bells and whistles. But, this works great for us. It's easy to use and the platform only includes things that we use instead of a handful of features that just slow it down. It looks like a simple version of Google Ads
CheetahMail has a high learning curve to master and requires a lot of backend work with tech teams to set up. Navigation is not the best and everything that should be automated is still extremely manual.
The platform has always been available, and the occasional system updates aside, there have been no downtime issues with Triblio. The platform has always been available when I needed it, and campaigns were launched timely
Triblio pages, campaign performances, and platforms have not slowed us down at all. If anything, Triblio has enhanced how we engage with our target accounts. There has been no speed performance issues, or lag due to system limitations. Triblio tracking on our site has not slowed our page performances significantly, so there has been on effect on speed
If there's one thing Triblio excels at it's their support. We have an account manager that meets with us regularly to discuss any questions or even potential strategies. If we have questions that dive deeper into the software we've had an engineer get on the line with us. They are quick to notify us if bugs occur, and when they're fixed. They are quick to respond to emails as well. We are very supported by their team.
Account reps have a quick response time but a very slow resolution time. Because account reps do not have technical knowledge, there is a long long lead time between flagging a problem and tech team resolution.
We had our Account management team online to provide training to the marketing team, ADR team, and the AE team, which was helpful as each team had their own sets of questions and needs from the platform. Having the Triblio experts on the call and knowing that they are available for questions later on was reassuring to everyone in the trainings.
Definitely have a dedicated technical team work on the implementation full time with the Triblio team. There are requirements on both ends of the pipe that needs to be done. It is much easier to have both teams work together full time as opposed to part time duty; it would take much longer than doing it all in one shot.
As someone on the sales side, I don't know much about these tools' differences. However, I have had a very good experience with Triblio. It seems like it is more robust, and we can gain more information about our website visitors. I believe we picked them because of this reason.
To be honest, all ESPs at a core level offer the same features to manage an email program effectively. The true decision making then is based on what their specialty service(s) may be. ExactTarget is a wonderful UI and integrations across many channels, but it is quite expensive and really for large enterprise organizations. Yesmail does have a great creative-services department. Strongmail, although good, does not offer any significant difference in the market, but price is slightly less so aren't bad solutions. DREAM is probably the "middle" between a Cheetahmail and ExactTarget from a UI look-and-feel and functionality perspective, and their data access is quite good. Cheetahmail was selected in the end because it offered more than a smaller ESP for functionality for larger enterprises, but was still within a cost range that was affordable for my company. (In fairness, there was also an existing relationship with Experian on non-email data services which also made extending the relationship make sense.)
The Triblio platform works fairly reliably since we have implemented it into our instance. There are the occasionally wishes that they have more functionalities, but those are feature requests which can be accommodated in future product enhancements. In terms of flexibility and scalability, we chose Triblio since we wanted to scale our ABM efforts, so that was a big part of our consideration.
The element of Sales Funnel in this tool is top-notch as it facilitates in keeping our sales team satisfied by augmenting prospects.
This product has proven to be an essential ingredient of success in my business, so if you want prosperity in your business, then this tool is worth trying.
Though the customers have gone up, we don't see a significant increase in our policies sold.
Communicating with CheetahMail is also fair when having to debug problems, which is good but there are a bunch of problems with some emails that lead to communication in the first place.
