GooglePay appears similar but the seller charges no commission. On the downside, there is also no payment protection. So if a transaction goes wrong and it is paid directly from a bank account or via a debit card then you have no buyer protection. This is a significant risk …
I was not a part of the discussion to implement Google Pay into our store, but I am definitely an advocate. Amazon Pay was used sparingly but still a helpful option; I believe that Google Pay is more widespread and simpler to use. I would be interested to see how payment …
We have used PayPal Payments as well. Google Pay is pretty on par with PayPal Payments but opens up payments to additional users since many people have a google account.
We've used PayPal for business in the past and it can sometimes be a little problematic locating where everything is. Google Pay (formerly known as Google Wallet)'s interface is so smooth that we only need to look in a tab or two to glean important information or catalog an …
Google Pay is almost supported with every shopping website whereas Amazon pay only supports Amazon and you need to first add funds to your Amazon Pay wallet. With Google Pay, you just need to input your UPI in and the rest of the gateway handles it for you by redirecting you to …
This is somewhat better than Paytm because in their case when payment remains incomplete and money gets deducted, you sometimes have to wait for a long time for the refund. But in Google Pay, you don’t have to worry as the deducted amount gets refunded without any hassle. Also, …
There are many alternative products on the market that function similarly to Google Pay. I think the closest competitor I've used would be Apple Pay, but there are other products like Venmo and Zelle that are somewhat similar. I think Google Pay is at least as good, if not …
I think Google Pay is roughly comparable to the above products. That said, Google Pay came onto the market much later than things like PayPal, Apple Pay, Venmo, and other peer to peer wallet apps, so it is easy to see why people already have preferences for other apps. My …
Gave Google Wallet a chance when it launched and have been using it since. There were no other evaluations that took place. I have always been happy to try out new Google products and watch them grow as they develop and add features. The timeline has been a little slow but it's …
Currently I'm using all of these apps including Phone Pe. But mostly using Google Pay its just because of its performance.
Comparing to these other apps, Google Pay have the best user interface and user experience, it is the main reason that I'm using Google Pay more than other …
Paytm and Amazon pay are also good application but you know everyone have blind trust on Google services because of their free and secure services. Just tap and pay direct from your bank accounts making these app so easy and beautiful. No doubt Google apps UI's are always …
I like PayPal because I can use the money instantly with my debit card, something I don't see Google Wallet offering. I like Google Wallet because everything I do online somehow seamlessly work with Google and it would be great if I could use this exclusively.
Paytm is all in one junction for all daily life needs and business use cases. It's versatility in all the services makes it the only best app in market.
I use Paytm just for the ticket booking system. For most of my daily transactions, Google Pay is the way. Google Pay has provided things very simple and faster. They always focus on a user-friendly env rather than adding everything to the app. They kept the app more simple …
Amazon Pay's bank transfer take quite a lot of time and in term of end to end security, Paytm is much better than others. It is highly used by millions of people. It is quite used by them on day to day basis.
I like documentation of Paytm when compared with others. This allows me during development and solves any issues if raised. Coming to Razorpay, I have faced a lot of issues with it regarding transactions.
When I inquired about payment gateway I found lots of platforms but all have differences. When I compared with Razorpay I found that Razorpay takes fix 2% charges for all types of payments received on your account while Paytm takes max 2.5% charges for Prepaid card and 0 for …
Paytm is much better than Sodexo due to the wide array of use cases. Also, we need not carry a physical card in the case of Paytm. Additionally, Paytm is accepted in many more places than Sodexo.
Amazon's payment gateway has a higher transactional fee. For the Indian region, Paytm is the best solution for your e-commerce store, and QR code scan is very easy.
Depends on my usage. When I get better offers on Paytm like cash-backs and all, I go for Paytm only. Google pay no doubt is as good as Paytm but sometimes Paytm is much beneficial. But there are so many updates on the iOS platform which is a bit frustrating as it also consumes …
It's a much better solution for the Indian ecosystem as it solves for more of the domestic use cases and problems. It also offers the PG in Hindi which is the local language, that helps for Tier 2/3 city users. It also has offline payment through QR that other PGs dont offer.
Google Pay wasn't widely accepted when we started using Paytm but even after using it we prefer to use Paytm because it provides us with very useful services and is widely accepted. Paytm app is also faster than Google Pay app and offers more cashbacks than any other similar …
Paytm is widely used across my country. The penetration rate of this product is highest amongst the competitors, leading to its easier acceptance from a local seller to a premium seller. It was the first one to introduce the UPI transfers making it pretty easy for non-Paytm …
Before this app, I did not use any other digital payment services, but after using it I tested other apps like Mobikwik, PhonePe and PayPal. I didn't find these apps as convenient as Paytm. And those apps don't offer as many services as Paytm offers. So now I am using Paytm …
The most fitting scenarios for use of Google Pay generally include times in which people go out to eat or grab coffee or drinks. Other times are for planned parties where one person needs to put down a credit card to pay vendors, buy products/food/etc, and needs to be reimbursed by others who may not have cash/are not in the same office space as the payor/and other similar circumstances
Paytm is extremely well suited for lunch reimbursements and for paying road tolls. Paying road tolls is so easy using a Paytm money balance. loading money takes less than a minute. Lunch reimbursement amounts are directly transferred to Paytm wallet and these can be used in thousands of places. Paytm can improve its eCommerce portal and simplify the KYC process. Also, the app is a bit cluttered as of now. There is scope to make the app more modern and simple.
Google Wallet had a few glitches I was unhappy with, but Google Pay seems to have corrected them. Who knows if the changes were related to the name change or if they just happened to coincide with the timing for the most part, but either way I really don't have any big complaints.
One of the not so convenient things on Paytm is that if there is a connection failure while making a payment, your money is not credited directly to your bank account but rather to the Paytm Wallet, and this money can only be used by the Paytm platform.
In Paytm, user verification requires a personal visit to their physical offices, this can generate a lot of discomfort among potential users since if we want to use a virtual service it is precisely to encourage time saving.
You should be very careful when making purchases through Paytm's direct store, since in many occasions there are products of lower quality than the one offered and even fake products, it is better to use it to make payments to third parties and in considered amounts.
I feel that this system not safe. Google keep charging my credit card but they say they cannot trace the payment because there is no transaction record! I cannot stop the payment.
I have had no direct experience with the Customer Support team for google pay. I never faced any issues or problems. I heard from other friends and colleagues that the customer service is great. This method of payment is now more and more being used as it is more secure and also at the same time fast and easy.
I was not a part of the discussion to implement Google Pay into our store, but I am definitely an advocate. Amazon Pay was used sparingly but still a helpful option; I believe that Google Pay is more widespread and simpler to use. I would be interested to see how payment disputes are handled between these different payment platforms; so far, we have only had to handle disputes through PayPal, which can be complicated but have typically been resolved quickly.
When I inquired about payment gateway I found lots of platforms but all have differences. When I compared with Razorpay I found that Razorpay takes fix 2% charges for all types of payments received on your account while Paytm takes max 2.5% charges for Prepaid card and 0 for UPI and Rupay cards. Razorpay takes 2 days to settle the amount in your account where Paytm settles the amount in your bank account next day by morning.
It decreased checkout time for the user which allowed us to increase user experience.
Rarely, I used to face issues with transactions. If order got cancelled refunding of money, settling them etc.,
Since Paytm has link with UPI and I am able to collect money from any UPI applications, using credit or debit card, and internet banking it acted as single stop solution for me. There is no need to have multiple payment gateway options.
