Quality, Data and Information Management Assistant
Chose Ideagen Quality Management
A lot of users find it difficult in using software such as MTeams and MS SharePoint when compared to using Ideagen Quality Management (Q-Pulse). Ideagen Quality Management (Q-Pulse) allows you to keep a better audit trail in my opinion. It allows me to know who has read and …
I was not involved in solution selection, but this solution is fit for purpose for a number of different tools that we could be paying for as well. We are not purchasing an HR workflow tool because the workflows accommodate most of our needs and the one that it doesn't aren't …
It was selected before I came to the organization. It was chosen by a former employee. I dont think it compares very well for our intended purpose, but it may work for other organizations or industries.
We selected Qualio over Greenlight Guru because of the flexibility offered in adapting the system to support software as a medical device (SaMD) processes. Greenlight Guru was more expensive and very focused on hardware medical devices which did not fit our needs.
Much better suited to a small start-up environment than Green Light Guru. Less suited in terms of usability compared to Q Pulse which has more bespoke configuration options, is easier to configure, and has more modules that interact with each other. Have tried Q Pulse and Green …
Qualio is more intuitive to use and more economical for a small enterprise. I was not working for the company at the time it was selected, although I have experience with several other QMS systems and found Qualio to have some unique properties, such as the configurable …
Qualio has great native editor capabilities and offers great and timely support compared to competitors. Search and audit traceability are inferior compared to other products in the market and there is a lot of scope for improvement here. However, what makes it stand out is the …
Qualio is very flexible in implementing a new QMS. The technical support is outstanding and very responsive. Weekly webinars are a great help in the use of the system. Qualio sends me reminders when company training is outstanding, ensuring I am never late. Team collaboration …
I have not used any other products to be very honest, I am using Qualio, and I am quite happy with everything. They have been really very very great in all aspects, I don't think in the market there are other players delivering the good services. although if i will use any …
We looked at 2 other systems. I'm sorry, but I don't remember what they were. But the reason Qualio stood out for us was the versatility and customizability it had. We could tailor it to be more like the way we wanted to look and feel. The others said that some of the aspects …
Holds raw material and finished product data, and is easy to activate/deactivate specs as required. Useful for holding all supplier data on GFSI accreditation and alerts you when certification has expired and requests an update on your behalf. Allergens and nutrition in clear and easy to use format, for both raw materials and finished products.
I think that Qualio can work for some organizations, but not all. I dont think it is well-suited for a pharmaceutical or medical device company, but this could work for a company that doesnt require FDA oversight, computer system compliance, audit trails, etc. Perhaps this would be useful at an organization where only storage and receipt of documents is tracked, but not necessarily to the level of detail that is expected in the industry
Is flexible enough to customize for use for different types of medical devices, enabling us to integrate it into our processes and support our quality automation initiatives.
Supports a distributed/remote workforce by enabling electronic record-keeping and signatures.
Generally supportive of the quality system regulations we are subject to.
updating automatically the new staff lists ( when a new license is created) -you have to do it manually at the moment which is time consuming
easy reports creation - quite difficult to create a report for meetings or gather data
when printing a specific report and trying to add more on the list for the service due assets it is not updating when selecting columns ( service due, supplier, etc)
I would appreciate if similar documents are grouped together. For instance if engineering documents are put in one category and management document in a different category
Qualio has links to external documents but it would be helpful if it linked the user to sections within the document also
I would prefer that users be able to purchase licences directly without contacting a representative
Q-Pulse QMS is totally integrated into our organization now. It does the job nicely and to change it would cause unnecessary disruption to our operation.
as i already mentioned earlier.... Qualio definitely makes things run smoother, especially with keeping compliance in check and reducing errors. The setup took a bit to get everyone on board, and yeah, the costs can stack up over time. But overall, it’s been a solid tool that’s saved us time and stress, so it’s definitely worth it.
Although the platform is not the most intuitive, I have recognized Ideagen's willingness to make improvements. As such, the site is now much easier to use and navigate. I also enjoy the ability to easily keep track of courses that have been completed and courses that are due for recertification.
Most features are intuitive and easy to use. My favorite thing is the customer support. If I encounter a problem or don't know how to do something, a real person gets back to me within hours with a detailed solution.
The support team for Q-Pulse QMS is fantastic. Ideagen has invested a lot in this area, opening offices all around the world. Q-Pulse QMS product managers are also very responsive to requests and improvement suggestions. Ideagen also hosts annual conferences, which bring their customers together where ideas can be shared and we can meet the people developing the program.
Two great things Qualio has for customer support. 1. They are available online and on the phone, if needed, 24/7 with very friendly and knowledgeable people. Usually, the wait is no more than 10 or 15 min, and while you wait, you can search their online help library. I used to call first, but now I've found that their online help library usually has he answers already and the instructions are clear. Usually, I learn more than I needed. So I now go there first and only call if I don't find anything in the online help library.
I was not involved in solution selection, but this solution is fit for purpose for a number of different tools that we could be paying for as well. We are not purchasing an HR workflow tool because the workflows accommodate most of our needs and the one that it doesn't aren't necessarily appropriate anyway. Regulatory software validations are performed in Ideagen because the overhead of a software specific tool is more that what we require. The upside is that all of those records are in a consolidated location for an audit.
Qualio is more intuitive to use and more economical for a small enterprise. I was not working for the company at the time it was selected, although I have experience with several other QMS systems and found Qualio to have some unique properties, such as the configurable templates and strong search engine.
